Huh, this is getting a faster start then Luxurious did really. It's a hell of a catchy song. Even so, I'm surprised it's taking off as well as it is.

I predict this will peak higher than 'Cool' and Luxurious.' That would be soo cool. Everyone has seem to doubt her single choices post RG but they've all done really well. If this goes top 10 on pop that would be a massive shock but so cool.

452 105 GWEN STEFANI Crash 83 3 80 1.531
I can't see this going Top 10 on Pop but who knows, it's already surprising me how fast it's getting adds considering a 6th single and all.

Yes, that would be so cool if this hit the Top 10. We may then see a trend of sixth single releases (hello Kelly and Mariah).

This is taking off faster than I ever expected it would. A week ago, nobody knew there would be a sixth single, much less it being "Crash" and now it's already in the top 90 on pop with a triple digit bullet.

Damn. I had no clue this had spins already at Rhythmic. Could this bubble under already this week? Airplay is through tonight, right?

Does anyone know if there is anyway to find out what stations are playing this song?
Or look up the top songs playlist for any station on Mediabase?
Thanks.

I'm sure there's a better way, but if you go to the taking off section on mediabase for pop or rhythmic, you'll see "Crash". You can look at the leaders and the starters there for stations playing the song. If you look at a particular station's playlist, you'll see a 'view other station playlists' option at the top.

My friend said she saw on MTV News that Gwen will release a live video of this to go along with the upcoming release of her Harajuku Lovers Tour 2005 on DVD.
This seems to make sense, so I can see it happening.

Amazing that garbage like this song can get so many spins out of the box... it's already in the top 30 most spun at KIIS FM... I own Gwen's album, and this is NOT one of my favorites... bad choice for a single IMHO... :(

For some reason i saw this happining espececially since the energy of her performance to this song(well atleast when i saw her) fit the song perfectly!!

A live video? Ew. I wanted an actual video, that'll be 80's like.

Oh God...that tracksuit...will be shown on TV? Blech. Haha oh well. I wish they would do a real video. In the video for "Luxurious" the harajuku girls are already wearing the tracksuit behind Slim Thug when he does his rap. On the bottom it reads, "Where did my L.A.M.B. go?" which is a line taken from No Doubt's "Platinum Blonde Life" off of the Rock Steady album.

345 70 GWEN STEFANI Crash 201 6 195 2.576
Damn this is getting added fast! I take back what I said earlier, and this is definitely a great choice now that I think about it, it's pretty catch, this is NOT garbage like someone said.
I'm shocked it's doing so good at Rhythmic!
178 76 GWEN STEFANI Crash 221 85 136 1.610
I'm so glad they released this now, I used to like it but now I'm nuts about it!

Definitely wouldn't have been my pick (that would be "The Real Thing"), but I'm starting to really like this song again after not listening to it for awhile. I'd love to see it do well enough to get TRT released, but that's highly unlikely.

Gwen is like 4 months pregnant and based on that article from the LA Times she barely made it through the tour. She said she wants to go into hibernation for a while only coming out to attend the Grammys in February but will not perform because she doesn't want to be 5 1/2 months pregnant in a marching band uniform lol. Therefore, I really doubt she will agree to shoot a real video for this...although you never know. Madonna was 5 months pregnant when she did the "Music" video.

I'd love to see it do well enough to get TRT released, but that's highly unlikely. That would be like a dream come true:) If only these two songs could be what "Black Cat" and "Love Will Never Do Without You" were for Janet Jackson. Talking about 6th and 7th singles... I can't even imagine what it would've been like if Janet didn't release LWNDWY off of Rhythm Nation. What are other 6th singles that were released (and all were sent to pop)? Only other I can think of right now is "You Want This" by Janet. I know that Shania's albums and probably Jagged Little Pill had over 6 singles, but not all were sent to pop as far as I know. Toni Braxton's debut I guess had 6 singles chart top 40 (if you count soundtrack lead-off songs).

A live video? Ew. I wanted an actual video, that'll be 80's like. That would be awesome. Something different from all the sluts, clubs, and gold teeth we see these days. I wish Gwen would do a real video and I think she could. If Madge was 5 mos. pregnant when she did 'Music,' Gwen could do it too. I'm sure they could think of a way for her not to move so much during the video. She's not that good of a dancer anyways. (I still LOVE you Gwen!)We need a video for this awesome 80's dance track. The 80's need to return!
