Hey why not....I mean last two singles were medium hits, so why not give it one last go.

The next ND album is expect in the 2nd half of 2007 according to Gwen herself. Yeah, that makes sense. She probably won't do much writing since she's been adament about taking a big break and she won't record anything for a long while since she'll be pregnant for the majority of this year so mid to late 2007 sounds about right to me.

Crash is OK, and I dont think it will do much of anything at radio, but they should have released Serious instead

Why not release a 6th single? A lot of people gave me flack for saying Gwen and Kelly should release 6+ singles from their CDs and all I heard was "This isn't the early 90's anymore"....Well it's good music and if the studio wants to release it, let them release it. It can be a great radio hit...so what if it doesn't do well in digital or Billboard...If it does well on R&R I think the studio will be happy.

Isn't she pregnant? She ain't gonna be able to do another album for a while anyway.. might as well hold people off. I like the song but i like "the real thing" more.

OK, so is it hit material. Prehaps with her success and Madonna's Hung Up doing well there's going to be more acceptance for these kind of songs.

YAY! I am so happy right now since I read this, I would have much rather had TRT released as a single but this is just as good!!!!
WHOO, I was really really hoping they would release a 6th single and I didn't think this was going to happen.
GO GWEN!

I like this song, but I'm shocked they are going with a sixth single. This song probably won't do well on the urban-leaning CHR/pop stations.

This has 11 spins on pop. Not sure who is spinning it.

I can so see this getting major spins on noon-time rotations.
(that's not a compliment)

I was listening to the album last week and I really liked track 9! This one isn't bad though. I'm glad the CD is going for 6 singles though. I like it when albums go that deep into singles. C100 in Halifax has already played 6 songs from the album as regular rotation so if they play 'Crash', it'll be her 7th.

I think downloads for this will be higher than they were for Luxurious.

Good choice for a single, however I really I do not like the song at this point.

Wow, I almost don't believe this is true! :o
I am shocked she is releasing a 6th single. And even more shocked by the choice. I would have bet it would have been either "Bubble Pop Electric", "The Real Thing", or "Serious".
I liked "Crash" at first but then I got a little tired of it. But the performance she did for this song on her tour was so amazing and energetic that it made me love the song again.
Maybe the video for this song will be the live performance from her tour as she is planning to release a dvd this year?
"Luxurious" still went top 10 on pop and almost top 10 on rhythmic, while also cracking the top 50 at hot ac, so I think radio is still somewhat interested in playing Gwen still.

I like this song, but I'm shocked they are going with a sixth single. This song probably won't do well on the urban-leaning CHR/pop stations. That's what I'm thinking too. Cool did the best of Gwen's non-urban singles, but it was coming off of Hollaback Girl. This is coming off of Luxurious, which wasn't as strong a single on the charts.

It will be interesting to see how radio reacts to this kind of song. Downloads should be interesting also - I mean, is there anyone left who doesn't have her cd who actually wants it by now. I guess she never planned on releasing BPE as a single because when the album first came out everybody thought that it was a single for sure but 5 songs later nothing.

If "Luxurious" couldn't do anything on downloads, I don't see why this suddenly would. It's a 6th single plus the album has been out for over a year and most people who wanted it already own it so there would be no point in downloading a song they already have.

I was pulling for Serious. Love that song also. When I first heard the album, all my favorites were the non R&B leaning tracks, or however you want to categorize them.

This is such a horrible choice. "Serious" or "The Real Thing" are her most radio friendly choices. This is catchy, but it's everywhere and gets old after awhile. Though I suppose it doesn't matter. there just trying to keep her out there during her break/ the Grammys.
