I would guess "House With No Doors" would be most likely to be the next single...but who knows. It seems like "River Of Love" has been on the charts for a lot longer than 22 weeks!

Sometimes, the songs on each album that I like the best, and the songs that I think that would do better on the charts, are not the same. And that would be the case with House With No Doors. That's my favorite on the album, very creative, and almost a sequel/continuation with the guy who talks with George in I Hate Everything. But I don't know if it would do that well as a single, and might peak close to where Troubadour did, #7 (and, again, Troubadour was my third favorite on the album, after Make Her Fall In Love, and I was expecting it to be an under-performer on the chart as well). Contrast this with River Of Love, which was among my least favorite on the album (and everyone's seen how low it ranks on my #1 list), but I was certain that it'd be a strong performer on the chart, at least top 3.
Perhaps it'd be best for George to go to a new album, with a brand new single. That's kind of what I was expecting, with him starting up a new tour in June. And one of my chart goals for George (he probably doesn't have any, so I have to pick up the slack) was for George to get one more #1 during the rest of the year. After River became George's 9th #1 during the current decade, he'd need one more, by December, to reach double digits in #1s for the 00s. And after the 18 he got on Billboard in the 80s, and 17 he racked up in the 90s, that would give him three straight decades with double-digit #1s. That's never been done before. And that would set him up with the "easy" task of only having to eke out five #1s (maybe a few of them via the "duet with popular young artist" route) in the 10s, to reach my ultimate goal for him, 50 Billboard #1s.
