This has been in my head all day for no reason at all. It's next to WBT and Honey as my favorite Mariah single. Gotta love Jay's GOAT verse as well.

Love it! The video was sensational. She looks so hot.
And that remix was a KILLER!

I love it. This is her last lead single I still listen to frequently. So fun and irresistibly catchy. Both the DJ Clue remix and Junior Vasquez's club remixes were excellent. It's one of her best videos too.

Love every version of it (and she did give us 4). The 'Love Hangover/Heartbreaker' mash-up is brilliant.
The video is in the trilogy of her most iconic videos. Amazing.

My least favorite uptempo Mimi single. Her vocal approach in the verses make it difficult to understand what the heck she's saying. And the sample is a little too close to "Fantasy" for its own good.
The video was campy fun, but "Honey" probably would easily stand alone as her best video.

I just recently found the CD single with the original version, DJ Clue remix, as well as both Junior's mixes and one of his dubs. One of the best CD singles I own, because each version is so amazing! And the music video for the original version is fantastic as well.

The DJ Clue remix ranked #9 on Slant's The 10 Greatest Mariah Carey Remixes.

I like this. It's nowhere near her best, but definitely enjoyable. This album as a whole was definitely the beginning of her worst period as far as quality was concerned to me imo.
The Remix that uses Ain't No Fun is my favorite version.

I still love the original, but I've really grown to appreciate the Remix as of late. Everything Slant says is true. I wish the uncensored version would leak, though.

IMO, the best version of this song is the 11+ minute dance remix mashup with "If You Should Ever Be Lonely." The intensity of the pre-chorus "Boy! If! I! do! the things you want me to..." gives me chills.

It's a killer pop/R&B song, but I never really loved this personally. It wouldn't even be in my MC top 100. The video is great, definitely one of her best. I love the dance remix with the "If You Should Ever Be Lonely" interpolation, but my favorite of all versions of "Heartbreaker" is the DJ Clue remix.
Let's watch this performance with MC, Missy, Brat and... Oprah getting down to this awesome jam:

The original is a cute, fluffy song. I prefer the remix with Da Brat/Missy. And the Heartbreaker/IYSEBL remix is amazing. And the mashup with "Love Hangover" is awesome too.

This also spawned one of the best MadTV music video parodies. Yes, I still find myself sometimes singing *these* lyrics instead.

Let's watch this performance with MC, Missy, Brat and... Oprah getting down to this awesome jam: It is hilarious seeing those middle aged white women sitting there not knowing what to do.

That Oprah performance always killed me. Today having something like that on a daytime talk show wouldn't even be that crazy, but back then it was like Mariah was corrupting the Oprah crowd.

Those white ladies didn't know what to do with themselves with Da Brat went in on stage LOL. This was probably the funniest oprah performance until Janet did So Excited a few years later. It was so awkward seeing her grinding and talking about opening her spot for 50-something suburban housewives

They were feeling themselves till Khia's vocals came on.

The raps were a little dirty for Oprah's audience. I'm amused and floored that they performed that version. lol.
Oh lord at the "Love Muffin" parody. lol.

This is part of what people mean when they talk about Mariah's influence in bridging pop, R&B, and urban music.
