This came on at the club on Saturday and we all died. They also played "Fantasy". I see what they did there.

Still love the original and the remix. The original is pretty much the definition of a summer bop.

From Billboard the week "Heartbreaker" fell 1-2 on the Hot 100:
"Heartbreaker" was a limited single and sold 271,000 copies in its first week of commercial release. So, it sold nearly 1/3 of the available copies that first week. In week 3 it still sold almost 100k copies, so its availability was nearly gone and obviously the song would have spent another week at #1 with full availability since it was so close anyway.

I don't remember this song that much despite being a hit (it was played on B96 and WGCI in my market when it came out) as Mariah could seem to do no wrong chart-wise between 1990 and 2000. This is okay but when it comes to her 1997-2000 material, "Honey" was her best song from that period.

"Heartbreaker" was #1 on the Hot 100 21 years ago this week.
Sony uploaded the remix EP to digital today.
