I've been a fan of MB20 since their debut in 1996, but I'm confused as to which songs from each of their albums were actually "singles" and when/what order they were released. Can anyone help? Thanks!

Yourself or Someone Like You "Long Day" "Push" "3 AM" "Real World" "Back 2 Good"
Mad Season "Bent" "If You're Gone" "Mad Season" "Last Beautiful Girl"
More Than You Think You Are "Disease" "Unwell" "Bright Lights" "Downfall"
"Long Day" and "Downfall" did nothing anywhere. "Last Beautiful Girl" only made it to #38 at Pop, no idea about elsewhere.

Long Day went top 10 on Rock . LBG was a top20 hit on HAC . Downfall flopped big time and just barely made the top30 on HAC. The other songs were all huge airplay hits. Mad Season spawned another big HAC hit "Angry" which went top5.

I don't think Angry was released or even a hit at all, however, a couple of stations did play it.
On the other hand, before Downfall was released, All I Need got somewhere around 200-300 spins on about 8 or 9 stations in the Spring of 2003. I love Downfall, but I think All I Need would have a been a Top 10, however, I think Atlantic was afraid that this would screw up Rob's solo release which was expected for the coming November.
I'll be interested to see how things go for Matchbox when they are expected to release a new album about a year from now. I'm sure it will spawn some Top 10's on Hot AC.

Thanks very much. I don't remember "Long Day" getting any airplay at all, so I always assumed that "Push" was the lead single from that album. I don't recall "Last Beautiful Girl" getting much airplay either. Personally, I would have chosen "All I Need" or "The Difference" as the fourth single from MTYTYA. Hopefully we get more MB20 material soon and for many years to come.

"Crutch" also made the top 30 on Adult Alternative before If You're Gone was released. I'm not sure if it was an official release though.

"Angry" did not chart at Hot AC. Perhaps AAA?

What about 'Feel'? Wasn't that released to rock and alternative formats the same time 'Unwell' came out to the lighter ones? I'm 99% positive it was released but did nothing! I charted it too.

Yes, I remember "Feel" being released and I think it actually got about 26 spins on Alternative.

Yeah, just add "Crutch" and "Feel" to Mike's list and that's the full list. "Angry" wasn't released, though I wish it had been.
