I love Carrie, and I love this song. As for her labels hits or misses I think they missed the mark for the first time with Last Name and its horrible video. I think thats where things got kinda uninteresting.

I'm confused. Jimmy Wayne's "Paper Angels" managed to chart for a second year after it was officially released the second year (and the "one year only" rule was already in place), so why doesn't Carrie's song have the opportunity to climb again?

They remixed "Paper Angels." It's listed as the 2008 version. Not the case for Carrie.

Anyway, that was different, because Paper Angels was not released as a Holiday song. I believe it was released in August or something like that, and was the 4th single off of his debut album. Not the same thing at all.

I think thats where things got kinda uninteresting. I didn't think the Last Name video was her best but interestingly, the song was nominated for a grammy. Isn't that a hoot.

^ yeah lol. Sometimes I'm surprised by those kind of nominations. I much more expected 'Gunpowder & Lead' to be on that list. :o
I love Carrie but 'Last Name'? Seems like a strange choice lol
