I hope this time the label moves FAST if they're planning to do something else with this era. I do hope they can erase this HORRID move and finish the era with something better than IWB's performance. If there is a next single, it shall need more EFFECTIVE promotion, though... and not performances of Leona singing Better In Time for the 1000th time just with a Country, Gospel, Merengue, Chachacha, Metal or Reggaeton arrangement

London, UK. (Top40 Charts/ SONY BMG MUSIC Entertainment) - Congratulations to Leona, who scooped another award this week!
The Japan Gold Disc Award, launched in 1987, honoring the artists and their works which had made great contribution based on objective criteria with the actual sales in development of the music recording industry every year, is a music award intended to let music fans recognize the achievement.
Also, Japanese pop act Exile and Madonna were among the winners at the 23rd edition of the Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ) Gold Disc Awards at Tokyo International Forum in the Yurakucho district of Tokyo. The awards, held March 2, celebrate the artists that have sold the most in sales categories that range from singles and downloads to albums and total sales.
Leona was named New Artist of The Year at Japan's Gold Disc Awards, hot on the heels of her recent win at the Swiss Music Awards. It's an exciting start to 2009...

I hope they either release TAB or FM, but maybe they just wait til the next album? This song just wasn't single material I think. I'm sad it flopped, and it also screws up her chart run on my chart since every other single(including Run)hit #1!
In a perfect world they would have just released Run instead.

FM, FM, FM, FM. Her label needs to take a hint, and quickly

RTM surveys are pretty worthless. And they should definitely release one more single.

on RTM survey looks like her label wants to know why it flopped and if they should release more singles They are actually admitting it flopped? Usually, record labels kinda keep quiet about their flops, but are they really admitting it? Link please?

Alexandra Burke may even do better than her with single releases in the US. LOL! Let's be serious here...

Video pulled from VH1 Top 20 countdown. Either a glitch or they are getting ready to release another single. Hopefully the latter :) Either that or maybe the song is such a flop that they got rid of it.

They REALLY need to release Forgive Me. Even if it flops, it doesnt matter. The point of it is to get people to see that she is versatile. That might keep her afloat by the time her next album drops. 3 ballads in a row is not going to cut it.

As far as people hating that this flopped, "I told you so", and you can quote me

Wow, I thought this would flop, but I can't believe it did this poorly. I would say most here thought it would flop this bad. It's bland, sappy and generic. It's sad that her career is managed by a bunch of monkeys

Simon is eating his words on that comment he made about how Mariah needs to stick to just ballads. Hopefully this showed him and the others running her career that diversity is a must for any artist's longevity in the charts.

footprints is a beautiful song, but it'd go nowhere fast on US radio at the moment.

^ Footprints and Run would both do great at AC, but she needs a hit at pop.

I'm not sure she's going to get another hit on pop with this album. She needs to come out with the perfect mid-up-tempo song on her next album and that may work. As it is, she's used up all her ballad cards on pop. They're not going to accept another one.

FM was like, made for American radio...it would definitely be a hit if released but I have a feeling it won't be.
