My name change has given me nothing but bad luck. I think you came in third two years ago, if I remember correctly.

LOL, feel free to leave me credited as "Made of Steel". The current name just looks bad in there. I missed this quote. Oops. So, you're Made of Steel? OK, then I'll combine the scores (hesitantly)

Damn your clues are hard. Picpak's are easier! Maybe it's because I don't know most of these songs

Number 84 is really bugging me, I wanna say Senses Fail's "Family Tradition" but I'm really not sure about it.

OK, I'll give a small hint.....in #87, the entire "___ and ___, she said, on a hospital bed" is an entire lyric from the song. The "___ and ___" part is the title. I wasn't sure if that was clear or not.

"Rise" and "Shine" fit well into there, but I can't put them together.

"Rise" and "Shine" fit well into there, but I can't put them together. You're on the right track. It's a common expression, usually done via walkie-talkie or microphone (I think).

Allow me to introduce the first annual award for a new annual contest - Icon of the Year. The qualifications for jdmasta289 'Icon' are fairly subjective, of course. Perhaps 'Icon' is an influential figure in my music-listening experience that best summarizes my countdown. Simply put, it is a figure whose music influenced me heavier than any other figure in a particular year. Artists like Pete Wentz, Hayley Williams, and Dave Grohl summarize the music of my countdown well. The 'Icon' or his or her band had to have performed admirably, chartwise, in that particular year. Ben Gibbard from Death Cab For Cutie wins the first annual award for Icon of the Year. After their previous album, No Plans, yielded only one song - "Soul Meets Body" - which dented the top ten in the summer of 2005, Death Cab returned to prominence on my musical chart again in 2008, with two number one songs, "I Will Possess Your Heart" and "Cath." Gibbard encompasses that misunderstood indie genius vibe, and his early music - with both Death Cab For Cutie and the Postal Service - inspired me heavily. Transatlanticism and We Have The Facts And We're Voting Yes are two of the most influential albums in emo history, in my opinion. Cheers, Ben. Hopefully, we'll be hearing much more from you in the future. It's safe to say I think we will. Ben Gibbard wins Icon of the Year 2008 .
