Haven't heard the CD, but I do like the title track. Hopefully it will be a good one.

This might be Sade's second number 1 here in the UK since "Promise" in 1985. It's number one on the Itunes chart's Wow. There's a couple of songs I'm not feeling but some songs are great, Overall a good album.

Why does this album cost so much? $10.99 is a bit much for digital releases. >:(

Just on the opening song (and I know Soldier of Love) but DAMN, this song is so hot! The Moon and the Sky. Sing it, girl! But, OMG, Save Sade! If you go to Metacritic, they included a review of 50 from Pitchfork that wasn't even for her album, but for Massive Attack's. Metacritic's mistake is pulling down her overall critical score. Sabotage!

^ How? Have you listened to her whole catalog? What type of music do you think she should make? Dance-pop? That's not Sade. She makes the music that fits her. Everyone won't feel it, but her fans will, especially the grown and sexy.

What a comeback...She's not a popstar so don't expect her to be all Diva and in the limelight, but this group has officially gotten attention solely because of the music and that's what it's all about...

Just saw her on David Letterman's show. She looked stunning. Good performance. I listened to the album on Last.FM earlier tonight and loved it. I still prefer their earlier work, however, this is comparable. It's the next logical step in terms of their sound. It's totally in line with the Sade aesthetic, but it also has something fresh. The album will definitely be a grower. I plan to pick up the CD later in the week. "The Moon & The Sky" is my favorite too (so far). I plan to listen to the Best Of in the next day or two also. Wanda Sykes has a show? :o She does. I saw it a couple of weeks back. It's fun. It airs on Saturday nights. It airs at 11pm in my market. Any exposure is good.

Anyone who thinks this woman's music sounds the same either has not check her entire song catalog from 1984 or is very young minded in their taste of music. Sade's music is very diverse and when you hear it, you honesty can't put it into any one genre of music at all. Her sound is eclectic at best. Its jazz, pop, acoustic, R&B, rock, reggae tingled fusion.

I can't get into this. Solider... finally grew on me, so I'm hoping this album does too. As it stands, I prefer old Sade to contemporary Sade.

Fans better enjoy it b/c this may likely be Sade's final album and this one almost wasn't to be from what I'm told. She's the Greta Garbo of music.
