I actually like this track too! Fuckin' Soulja Boy, I swore I'd always hate him and then I found myself singing his songs on the radio without even knowing who it was.

If only he could keep momentum with the follow ups.
The problem with most of Soulja Boy's singles is they all sampled "Crank That".

#3 on iTunes #9 on The Billboard Hot 100 #3 on the New Zealand Singles Chart #23 on the Mainstream Top 40 with 2611 spins and second most added behind Right Round #1 on Hot Ringmasters #2 on JoJo's Top 9 @ 9 #1 on BET's 106 & Park
This is a hit. Soulja Boy shouldn't really be called a one hit wonder anymore. Frankly, I feel like an idiot liking Soulja Boy's music.

Frankly, I feel like an idiot liking Soulja Boy's music. IMO this is completely creative, original, and actually has music to it (unlike Crank That) so might give SB a new kinda rep.

I also felt awkward at first liking this, but I've fully embraced it now and I'm not ashamed to say I love it. It's far superior to any of his previous so called "music", and it's so addicting.

I don't think it's really fair to call this a Soulja Boy hit. Everyone knows that it is Sammie that makes it.

U guys make me sad lol. Sammie is an R&B artist and most of the black community knows him. He rose to some fame at 11/12 years old back in 2000/2001 with his debut album "From The Bottom To The Top". Had his first single, "I Like It" www.youtube.com/watch?v=o5WzGlkeafo and his second single "Crazy Things I Do For Love" www.youtube.com/watch?v=SRgjMYKCVWs&feature=related, which wasn't as big. He appeared with Lil Wayne, Lil Zane & Lil Bow Wow on the track "Hardball" from the soundtrack of the movie by the same name. Then pretty much disappeared to finish school and stuff like that I guess. He returned in 2006 @ the age of 18/19 with his sophomore album "Sammie" which spawned the singles "You Should Be My Girl" (moderately successful) & "Come With Me". Wasn't an amazing era for him though. So yea, Sammie is cool. I liked his album, but I feel he coulda came a lil harder. I hope his next album puts him (back) on the map. P.S. If U Look @ The Beginning Of The Video While He's Singing With His Friends, U See A Young Lloyd(Southside, You, Girls Around The World) In The Video As Well. P.P.S. Sammie does make this song, but I love it. lol
