The beat + Sammie makes the song! If it was just a beat with no catchy chorus it would be flopping Some people have trouble understanding that just because somebody isn't well-known doesn't mean that their feature can't add to a song in a positive way. If a song has a catchy hook sung by a featured guest, who that guest is doesn't change the fact that it's got a catchy sung hook.

I gotta admit, This song is Sammie's "Claim To Fame" and Soulja Boy's big break from the "one-hit wonder" image. It gots to hit the top five on the billboard hot 100 this thursday or else I'm gonna blow up.

Now they're gonna argue that because Kesha isn't well-known she isn't the star and main talking-point of Right Round.

He does the chorus, then she just repeats it, would it really matter if she didn't? Nope.

^ Well I'm pretty sure you wouldn't be getting as many males buying and singing the song if she didn't! It'd all be a little homo-erotic.

Yeah, but if you look at this thread and you hear what people are saying about the song most of the buzz comes from Kesha's vocals. So, in my opinion, she makes the song. Without her quirky vocals, i don't think it'd have done quite as well as it has. In fact, it'd be pretty bland.

Let me wrap this up. Sammie made the song period. No doubt. 100% sure. However, to say that Sammie made the song successful is absurd, because no one knows who the hell he is. The only reason why I know him is because I started watching BET in 2007, and during that time, "Come To Me" was played ALOT on BET. If it wasn't for that, I wouldn't know who the hell he was. Hopefully, this can put Sammie on the map to get a hit of his own.

Love the instrumental/chorus to this, really catchy. Sounds almost exactly like Whatever You Like though.

This is why I am constantly putting Jim Jonsin at the forefront. Twista, Bone Thugs, or even T.I. could have RIPPED those basslines apart. Made this some gangsta ass shit. I think its such a waste that it was given to Soulja Boy. But we can debate this forever.

Whereas TPain was the draw on Low. The verses are actually better than the chorus on this song. The opposite is true of Low.

If it weren't fot those female vocals, the song would be super dull, imo. She takes the song to the next level. And Sammie's part is 100% responsible for this son'gs success, just like Keysha Cole was reponsible for the success of Last Night. It's a very common thing.

It may be his break from one hit wonderdom at pop radio but not in terms of Urban, Rhythmic and the BB HOT 100.

That's a tight mix. The beat is a bit better Whatever You Like, but not as good as Lollipop.

^hmm, I don't agree but... Basically, Flo Rida "made" Right Round by singing, rapping, writing and featuring on his upcoming album. That "Kesha" (Whoever she is) is unknow in the music industry and made it way to Pop If your talking about stealing the spotlight in someone else's song, Go look at Dead and Gone with Justin Timberlake. Kiss Me Thru Phone is boring now but the reason why it was so huge was because of Soulja Boy's Da Da Da Da Da part, Jim Jonsin's hot beat, Sammie's sweet vocals and the cute music video. #15 on the Mainstream Top 40 3836 +8.0 #4 on the iTunes Top 100 #11 on the Rhapsody Top 100

^ The 'Da Da Da Da' part is the worst bit of the song for me. It nearly almost ruins it.

^ The 'Da Da Da Da' part is the worst bit of the song for me. It nearly almost ruins it. I think it's just that it goes on so long it makes it get annoying. It would have been fine if he had done that bit just once or even twice, but he repeats it, what like four times?
