WKJY played this. They said it won Record Of The Year and it's possible that made them start playing it. Does anybody know if any other Adult Contemporary stations are playing this?

I'm suprised "Clocks" wasn't an AC hit to begin with. It was released about the same time as the "Big Yellow Taxi" cover by Counting Crows, and I bet if released could have dented the Top 5. Yes EvanJ, on R&R I mentioned "Clocks" was on KUMU's playlist.

This probably could be a song in which AC will suddenly start playing after missing the boat and will play it like crazy to make up for it.

When the Grammy's read "Clocks" I was surprised that it us even up for a Grammy this year. It seems like such an old song to me. Anyone know when it was released as a single? Didn't the album win a Grammy last year? I remember seeing Coldplay play a song live at an awards ceremony last year. Was it Clocks?

They won the best rock performance Grammy last year for 'In My Place', which went to radio in summer 2002. 'Clocks' was also released to alternative radio in 2002, but I don't think it really reached a mass pop radio audience until after the Grammys cutoff date, whenever that is.

They performed 'Politik' last year.
'Clocks' was released late 2002, I think, which would have made their cutoff date definately. The CD-single (in Canada) says it's 2003 (while 'The Scientist' is 2002).
