362 spins (+4) Bullet 19 (=) Audience 1.643 (-.054) Here's hoping once it enters the top 50 that more stations give this song a chance. It's doing very well in Lansing and Syracuse

Please enter the Top 50 already. I feel like I've been waiting for that to happen for months.

Gotta dominate Lansing, eh?
Hopefully this will stay in the 50s... we have enough AI on the charts already.

Elliott is an indie artist. Plus he's a terrific singer who does it for the music and isn't owned by the Idol producers. FFL can take the place of Cook's single when it slides down the charts.
However, I understand getting sick of AI domination of the charts. Most of it is generic trash. Oh wait, that describes alot of the music getting played on this format already.

Yeah, I'd much rather listen to Birthday Sex and Boom Boom Pow This is going top 50 by Sunday unless something dramatic happens. Hot Picks are picking up again. Nashville has put this into daytime rotation.

Elliott HAS to enter the top 40. I'm tired of him being associated with Wait For You.

Especially when this song is WAY better than WFY It took a while to like it, but it's better than WFY IMO Know Better and Apart From Me are even better. I hope radio isn't so hesitant about those.

I think initially the reason this started getting spun in Syracuse is because Elliott's part of the station's (93Q/WNTQ) "Summer Jam" concert thing. But after it started getting a couple spins here and there, its really taken off because it's a good song and people really like it. It's just a matter of stations giving it a chance.

You need to hear Elliott live. It is an amazing experience. You won't wonder why Simon called him a vocal masterclass. He has one of the best live voices I've ever heard. Some songs sound better live than on the album.

One of the things I don't understand though is why the song is only spun nights and overnights? If it is a good song and getting good callout, wouldn't the PD play it in the morning or afternoon? It's amazing how he gets more spins on evenings rather than overnights on that station.

I don't understand it either. I remember it was getting a spin once in a while here during the day here, but for the most part its from 7:30 PM onward I've noticed. Hopefully that will change and this continues to grown for Elliott. What's more annoying is they end up spinning WFY at least once on daily basis during the day instead of FFL.
And as for seeing him live, I would have looked into it had I known earlier, but I think it may be already sold out and I just got home from college a few weeks ago. I really didn't even know about it until it was too late.

Alot of good news about this song today. I hope it translates into more spins and a quicker move up the charts.

368 spins (+6) Bullet: +13 (-6) Audience: 1.681 (+0.038)
Elliott most likely will enter the top 50 this week. Eminem looks like he will be purged as well this week so Elliott has four chances to make it.
Edit: You're right.

Thanks to Matt for making this nice table and 7 Things for the data. Anyways, Black Eyed Peas could realistically pass Elliott by Sunday. As long as Elliott stays ahead of at least two of the three (or one of the three if Fray go recurrent/Eminem gets purged) in Soulja Boy, Ashley Tisdale and LMFAO, he'll be in the top 50 for sure.

Swag, Miami, Tina Parol and Feeling will all pass Yamin, and Yamin is unlikely to pass Looking For, Star, or Lovetakeover... thus this won't go top 50 this week.

I'm not sure Tina Patrol and Feeling will pass this by Sunday. So I'd say it's 50/50 than the song makes the Top 50 by Sunday.
So many 50s.

I can't believe we have to rely on the weekend to help us get into the top 50. Does anyone remember how many spins FFL got on the Saturday and Sunday before Memorial Day weekend?

Forgot today's update:
373 spins (+4) Bullet: +18 (+5) Audience: 1.689 (+0.008)
I just checked BEP's I Gotta Feeling and it's already up to 316 spins. I think only about 10 spins are unmonitored.

It was pretty bad, like 42 and 44. Monday was like 52 Overnight and evening are definitely picking up. There is no question about it. Stations are transitioning to daytime now. Even if it doesn't reach the top 50 on Sunday, it's still showing a ton of progress.

I am starting to belive that he may well become a one-hit wonder. He still has Know Better and Apart From Me He's getting top 5 calls in Syracuse and Allentown 6 different PDs have gone on record calling this a hit. WJIM's said it is an anthem and a Jam It's definitely picking up in evening spins. It's also picking up in daytime spins. I still think this song has a lot of life left. WFY was almost dead 5 different times before it finally took off. Elliott doesn't have the major label backing, so his path is not like anyone else's. I might just be way too optimistic, but all the signs of a hit are there.

I really hope this starts taking off big time soon. Everyone I know in Syracuse loves the song. It just needs some exposure from other places and it'll be a huge hit.
