If that were true, I would be happy because I've always liked that song a lot. [Fun use of subjunctive mood. I am such a grammar nerd ]

One of the worst songs on the album. If they should have made a video, it needed to be for Devil or Beat.

Devil I could agree with, but Beat is one of the worst songs.

On Billboard's Hot Single Sales chart, both GI2M and 4M are bulleted.
MA is #26, down 3 spots, 17 weeks on. 4M is #33, up 12 spots, 42 weeks on. GI2M is #34, up 6 spots, 36 weeks on.

Thank God we have 2m here to tell us we are all wrong. Just ignore him, maybe he'll finally go away. ;) She's not even "MORE OF" a singles artist, as he so eloquently put it. 185 million albums sold, 90 million singles sold. I'm pretty sure 185 is more than double 90. And as already pointed out, her albums are usually consistent, and many of her best songs are albums tracks.

SHE'S SWEET :)
Officials: Madonna headed to Malawi for second child March 26, 2009, 9:55 AM EST BLANTYRE, Malawi (AP) -- Officials say Madonna is to travel to Malawi to try to adopt a second child from the impoverished African country.
An official at the Malawi welfare department said Thursday that the pop star has filed adoption papers.
Another person in Malawi close to the case says that Madonna will be in Malawi this weekend and a court could hear her adoption case as soon as Monday.
They both spoke on condition of anonymity due to the sensitivity of the subject.
Madonna's adoption of a Malawian boy in 2008 stirred controversy over foreign adoptions and raised questions about whether rules had been broken for the singer.
There have been rumors for some time that she was keen to adopt a girl from Malawi, where she runs a charity.

After reading that EW article about BEP's Boom Boom Pow, where they're saying that nowadays you're not relevant unless you're using autotune, I felt compelled to post about how Madonna was using autotune a DECADE ago.
Also, the end of Boom Boom Pow really reminds me of M's remix for Music she used on the Drowned World Tour in 2001.
Peace.

...and Zapp & Roger were using auto-tune 30 years ago. Peter Frampton used it before that. Does anyone really care who was using it first? It's not like artists get praised for electronically altering their vocals.

Autotune has been used for years and years. It's nothing new. It's nice when it's used sparingly if used, but when it's used for the entire song like all those T-Pain songs, it's just too much and annoying. ...and Zapp & Roger were using auto-tune 30 years ago. Peter Frampton used it before that. Does anyone really care who was using it first? It's not like artists get praised for electronically altering their vocals. Took the words right out of my mouth. I was about to come in here and mention the Zapp & Roger.

blog.divareport.com/Madonna has once again used her manager's Twitter account to announce two new releases this fall. Longtime friend and manager Guy Oseary wrote: "Sitting here twittering again with Madonna. As always, she wants to say hello to all the iconers out there and all of her fans." "Madonna is ready to celebrate! In addition to the gh package coming out this fall, she is pleased to announce the blu-ray releases of TWO tours: Re-Invention and Sticky and Sweet." When a fan asked what the delay had been on these releases, Madonna joined in on the cyber chat and typed a message that expressed her delight. The singer appeared to reply: "A GIRL CAN'T GIVE UP ALL HER SECRETS THAT EASY LOL....M." Before Oseary signed off, he shared details that Madonna had agreed to the Blu-Ray format only. It appears the Material Girl is saying goodbye to DVD.

Before finishing reading the article, I had a feeling it would say Blu-Ray only. It's like when the Blond Ambition Tour was released on laser disc format only. Let's hope they decide to release it through standard DVD as well.

She just wanted this child for publicity, I'm glad the judge refused the adoption.

I doubt it was for publicity (or at least all for publicity), but trying to adopt so soon after going through a divorce probably wasn't a good idea, even though what the court decided was that the child would be better off in a residence at the orphanage than abroad.

She just wanted this child for publicity, I'm glad the judge refused the adoption. Publicity for what? In a few months she's going to start the 2nd leg of her tour, which will sell over 1 million tickets and gross over $100 million from under 30 dates. And guess what? The vast majority of the tickets were already sold. She doesn't have a single or new album out now, nothing. So again, publicity for what?
