The new album drops 6/15. It's to coincide with their world tour. World tour? As in the U.S. and Canada, or are they going to play novelty dates in countries where they're not even famous for press?

^^lol, world tour as in literally a world tour lol. IDK what disney is thinking they really aren't that popular outside of the united states. I do know they sold out their show in the UK but i have a feeling thats the only place over seas that they'll sell out.

Only if Kanye stays out of trouble, which isn't too likely.

Are you saying Jobros will make Kanye flop if he stays out of trouble or if he doesn't stay out of trouble?

If Kanye doesn't throw a tantrum or beat up a photographer, his Paranoid will most likely flop giving the Jo Bros a chance, which will ultimately cause Kanye to throw a tantrum..

This one's registered on Mediabase now (with no audio clip available), so I guess it should be leaking in the next few days.

I don't like the preview, but being the Jonas Brothers it will probably do well (at least digitally)..

yep, crazy fangirls. IDK though, this will be a big test for them, they need to do well. there 3d movie failed, their TV show just debuted to the lowest ratings disney's had for a series premiere in 5 years. So either they're fading or they were never as big as people thought they were and just have fan girls willing to by like 5 copies of their music

Just got a listen of the full thing. Lyrically, it's typical Jonas, but I have to say I quite like it otherwise. I think it definitely shows some nice growth from their past material. Nice kind of 80s sound, which is cool, although, it does strike me as something that might do better on Hot AC rather than Pop. That being said, expect lots of teen girls to be requesting it.

Nick Jonas is a good songwriter. However, he has no business singing. And Joe Jonas has no business being in any band of any sort. Has anyone ever told him how utterly ridiculous he looks on that stage? I mean... seriously! True to this! I cant wait to hear how this turn out. Im not going to put them down yet until I hear it!

So either they're fading or they were never as big as people thought they were and just have fan girls willing to by like 5 copies of their music 3.965 million is only a little more than a million less than the opening for Sonny (With 4.093 million). Now let's see... the December 14th airing of a brand new episode of Hannah only scored 3.817 million: tvbythenumbers.com/2008/12/16/monday-night-football-wwe-raw-and-spongebob-lead-weekly-cable-viewing/9696#more-9696& the January 11th brand new episode did even worse with 3.693 million viewers. Luckily the new episodes in a row last November & this March have helped stabilize ratings because before those, ratings were completely inconsistent. :) Sonny consistantly gets under 4 million & Wizards has a few times this season as well. :) where did you hear it? lol, i wanna hear how bad it is Why are you even here?

those weren't debuts. well Sonny With a Chance was. Its better to look at 2nd week numbers to see how much the ratings fall after a debut. I agree that 4 million or even in the high 3 million on a normal week would be fine for the DC but for a premiere , not really. its the worst premiere ratings in 5 years for disney. they're an established group they should have done better then that and they were expected to.
Either way, Disney wanted them to be the multiplatiform success that Miley and Hilary is/were and they haven't been. For Demi, those numbers are fine, for the JB's they're not because thats not what was expected of them. Again that goes back to the company thinking they're bigger then they really are.
and i don't understand why i can't be in this thread?? I want to hear the song, they keep talking about how different this is going to be from their other stuff and though i highly doubt it I want to hear for myself. Look in the other threads in here, people go in them to bash other artists all the time, I'm not even doing that.

The LA Times, and others who have criticized the performance of the premiere episode are the ones that had way too high expectations. At LEAST don't get that part twisted. We'll have to see how the next few episodes fare to really judge how well the show is doing. Either way all of Disney shows are performing so-so considering they are all losing to the hit show "iCarly." :) And the stars of that show don't get half of the exposure that Disney's do. :) Anyway, you said you can't wait to hear how bad the song is which is simply rude & immature.

I'm almost certain Disney expected it to premiere much higher then Demi's show did, so yes I do think its valid to say it did not live up to disney's expectations. and thats because Miranda really isn't as marketable as some of her peers. Correct me if I'm wrong but the iCarly soundtrack didn't do as well as HM's first one did and Miranda promoted it just as much as Miley promoted the HM soundtrack. Miley's only one of that group of stars who I follow so I might be wrong about that but I seem to remember Miranda promoting that soundtrack a lot. Also for how crappy disney is at promotion, they're better at it then Nick is. Fine I want to hear it to hear how not different from their other stuff it is. I'm sure it will be lyrically just fine, as Nick is a good songwriter but vocals are an entirely different issue.

Luckily the new episodes in a row last November & this March have helped stabilize ratings because before those, ratings were completely inconsistent. :) Sonny consistantly gets under 4 million & Wizards has a few times this season as well. :) The Sunday numbers for Hannah Montana were at 4.5 million. That aired a day after Jonas. And Sonny scored 4.1 million. Jonas wasn't even in the top 10 cable programs for the week. Both HM and Sonny are scoring better ratings than they were in December and January. I think it's likely the time of year that certain shows trend higher or lower. Jonas should have trended higher in its premiere since ratings for Disney shows are up right now, not down. IMO, there's nothing wrong with putting out albums once a year. It's not like other pop/R&B acts don't do it too. Rihanna generally releases albums close together (I think this is the longest she's gone between albums and that's probably because it's her biggest one-but it's not like her last two were flops). Hollywood is being smart. They see the songs that CHR is playing aren't really straight-up pop like the Jonas Brothers tend to do, and that a second/third single is harder to promote than a first (b/c first comes with buzz). They put out a new album, they get another "first" single with buzz. I'm not a fan of the Jonas Brothers' sound (primarily their actual sound, as in voices), but I'll give them credit. They're good musicians and songwriters. They sell out arenas which is very difficult to do with the economy being the way it is. So they aren't TV stars. Disney tends to skew tween, and tweens love girls they can look up to. Miley, Demi and Selena are their heroes, not the Jonas Brothers. Plus the show itself isn't that great. I don't watch regularly, but I've caught episodes of HM, Sonny, Wizards and Jonas, and Jonas was the silliest. Oh, but Hanson pwns Jonas Brothers in pretty much every way. They're a lesson in why you don't wait 3 years to put out an album if you're teen idols. They could have kept a lot of their fan base if they put out an album a year and then, once they were adults they could slow down and their fans would continue to follow them regardless b/c they grew up with them. That's what JoBros are trying to do. We'll see if it works.
