Beyonce would add "oh" to a song or some other word. For instance Smash Into You which she didn't write but it says she wrote it.

but lets be real if u were trying to put B vs B against each other writing or vocals isnt something id go after if i were trying to discredit Beyonce, Britney fans should stick to album sales lol LOL. A Beyonce fan trying to discredit another artist's writing abilities? Wow. Pot, meet kettle. At least Britney knows and admits that she isn't the world's greatest writer. Beyonce adds two or three words to a song and acts as though she's some master lyricist (when that couldn't be further from the truth). It's pathetic how the Beyonce $tans have convened in Britney's threads to insult and demean her just because her cover of 'You Oughta Know' has received more media attention than Beyonce's. I mean, really - grow up.

HAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Seriously. I mean, there are other areas where I can say Beyonce is better than Britney, but please don't mention songwriting skills when it is well known now that Beyonce writes very well with her dollar bills. Who was the songwriter of If I Were A Boy? Beyonce, right? Sure, she is a masterful lyricist

Which pretty much stains (to put it lightly) a lot of her credibility as a song-writer. As it's been said Britney may not be the best song writer in the world but at least she doesn't steal. But this is neither here nor there. All ya'll Beyonce fans need to leave up out of this thread the same way Mathew Knowles kicked out those two girls from Destiny's Child. There's no reason for you to be here if all you are going to do is throw shade because Britney came out of the wood work and performed the better live version of "You Ought To Know" on her sold out tour. Ya feel me?

Britney OWNED the song. The last chorus was AMAZING. This better be the lead single from The Singles Collection next month. Her 6th #1 Pop Song. And the hits keep coming

She was amazing, and I love that Alaniss song But I really don't care that much about live singing. I mean, she has lipped like 90% of her career, and she's the best sellig female artist of the decade anyway As for the Beyonce fans and the ha-ters, what are they doing in this thread? Isn't there any rule against drama queens? They obviously don't like Britney and they post in here just to create dramas and fights

Sorry for being off-topic, but Radar is #38 this week on CHR/pop. It refuses to leave the top 40. Could someone post its pop run thus far?

You just have to put some sort of passive comment in there, huh. It's just as essential to each of my posts in this thread as your replies are. To your posts alone or to every other post I reply to ;) What it must be like to dedicate time, energy, and effort just to be positive and slightly passive at best and negative at worst. LOL at the people starting another Brit vs Beyonce beef...there not the first two to cover the song on there tour.

LOL please dont start with me today... i dont have the strength... yeah, right! Beyonce is sooooooooo talented that only track she have EVER written by herself (and released) since DC is "Beyoncé Interlude" from her solo debut album. oh btw, this 16 sec track is not even a SONG :o she's such a great songwriter EXCEPT the fact that she always gets in trouble regarding 'stealing song credit.' uguys must be proud of it, right? at least Britney never ever have done anything like that. and there's a song called 'Someday (I Will Understand)' which Britney wrote all by herself and played piano on it.

Clearly Bey sounds *technically* better, but overall Britney's version is so much better. She sells it with her performance, with her recent life, and the vocal is quite convincing. Brit's autobiographical catharsis beats Bey's faux-rocker headbanging.

Brit's autobiographical catharsis beats Bey's faux-rocker headbanging. Beyonce's voice simply doesn't fit well within a rock context. Britney has more freedom there so she sounds better. That being said I wouldn't say that Britney is really this hardcore rocker via Kelly Clarkson or P!nk she just sounds better in a rock foreground then Beyonce does whose voice clearly sounds better within gospel, r and b, soul and more earthy textures. If your talking about the actual physical performance Britney easily sold the material better then Beyonce who just did a weave and bop threw out her entire rendition.

You guys better knock it off or this thread is going to get closed.
Beyonce as of right now is the bigger and better artist. She promotes, sings live, has a great voice, and puts effort into her career. End of story.
