Don't you have anything better to do besides trying to stir up drama in the Britney threads? Honestly.

You guys better knock it off or this thread is going to get closed. Beyonce as of right now is the bigger and better artist. She promotes, sings live, has a great voice, and puts effort into her career. End of story. One Word: Oscars She lip sung it and had a nip slip! what a night!

Remember this? funny that Beyonce is covering that song in her tour as well....hmmm lol Now can mods just ban this troll instead of constantly closing threads?

Clearly Bey sounds *technically* better, but overall Britney's version is so much better. She sells it with her performance, with her recent life, and the vocal is quite convincing. Brit's autobiographical catharsis beats Bey's faux-rocker headbanging. Beyonce's voice simply doesn't fit well within a rock context. Britney has more freedom there so she sounds better. That being said I wouldn't say that Britney is really this hardcore rocker via Kelly Clarkson or P!nk she just sounds better in a rock foreground then Beyonce does whose voice clearly sounds better within gospel, r and b, pop soul and more earthy textures. If your talking about the actual physical performance Britney easily sold the material better then Beyonce who just did a weave and bop threw out her entire rendition.

To get back to Radar, I just said this in the 4Ever thread but I'll say it here.
I honestly thought this was going to do well, it is such a radio-friendly song and it was following 3 top 10 hits on pop radio, I didn't think they would deny it just because it was from Blackout but they apparently did. There really was no other reason for them to not play it.

Britney's vocal sounds like a 12 year old child on this song. Britney couldn't pull off a believable rock performance if it meant getting full custody of her 2 kids again. Check out her previous covers of "I Love Rock & Roll" and "Satisfaction" for further proof. Enough said. As far as performance, Beyonce wins easily as she is 10x the charismatic performer Britney is today. Britney didn't do anything but walk around the stage and "interact" with her male dancers as though she was simply going through a dress rehearsal.

I wasn't aware humping the floor while shaking your weave constituted as better performance. Britney pulled off the performance better than Beyonce. Britney sang this song with anger. You could feel what she was singing. There wasn't any mindless dancing, walking in sync, or stage magic. It was just Britney and her mic.

I really like her voice :) Wish she sung live more. Her voice is nothing great, but I really like her sound and she did a great job.
Any news on if we are getting a 5th single? Or Will Radar be it, until the GH's thingy?
