Those are fun videos, looks like Kelly was really lively last night and sounded fantastic after having two days to rest at home in Texas. Her little dance with Cory & Aben in MLWSWY is funny. And she and Eric make such a bizarre pair onstage, especially when you look at how they were both dressed. I don't like that song but it looks like a fun duet to see live.
Amazing how much smaller (especially in terms of her height) Kelly looks when the videos are shot from above instead of below. You can really see how tiny she is next to the rest of the band.
ETA: That may be the best version of Walking After Midnight yet. It will be such a crime if she never records that song.

So seeing Kelly shot from that view makes it very obvious that she isn't as big as everyone says she is!! Her pants and shirt actually look really loose!

Better video of MLWSWY - if you're still looking for the best tour performance of the song, this might be it.
I also noticed for the first time in the other video that DJ Ric plays the tamborines on this.

Just got back from Columbus! Kelly was AMAZING and the crowd was great!
Kelly almost fell on the ramp one time and she said her back was hurting.
My neice (and me) loved Parachute and Eric! The crowd also loved them...I really hope more people will hear about them because they are really great!

After seeing her in person last night I can say she is not over weight! I don't know what it is, but videos and pictures make her look bigger than she truly is!

she seriously has only attempted it twice in the five years since we've heard the song. Actually, she's sang it five times, I'm pretty positive. During the last few nights of the Breakaway tour, she hit it.

It's hard for me to decide what I want the next single to be. I've had the album for almost a year, so the songs sound different to me than they would for a person hearing them for the first time on the radio. AIEW was my second most played song of the year (behind Sexy B*tch ), and ever since the beginning I wanted it as a single. As the song slowly (very slowly) burns on me, I'm only now thinking another choice might be good. I see more single potential in DLMSY than IICHY. Honestly, I don't like the production on IICHY and never found it to be all that catchy, even thought I know it's popular here. But DLMSY has really grown on me. It's familiar to Breakaway, yet modern enough to fit on pop radio. Yeah, maybe it's not the most artistic move but at this point it's worth it. Long Shot would be a radio hit as well, but I don't see them releasing that. And lastly, Cry might be a hit, more so on AC or Hot AC.

I'll have to check out some of the media, because I'm pretty sure the only two times were at Jingle Ball and the Connect Sets acoustic version.

Saw her last night in Columbus, GA. Homegirl can sing her ass off. She's got one hell of a voice. Underrated for sure. Was 10x the concert The Circus Tour was.

Sadly, if you use the word "underrated" and Kelly Clarkson in the same sentence on this forum, you will often elicit many token eye-rolls and jabs. IMO, this occurs because those folks can not comprehend just how ridiculous her voice is and/or because of their insecurity in their own favourite artist's voice......

Was 10x the concert The Circus Tour was. Well obviously, there's actual singing. Glad you enjoyed it.

Which is why artists like Pink and Beyonce should be given HUGE props because they not only dance, do acrobatics, etc. but also have incredible voices. I would NEVER give my hard-earned money to see an artist miming.

Kelly is very underrated. Most people have no idea just how amazing her voice is (don't know why--BTHE, SUBG, BOY, MLWSWY are pretty hard to sing). I had a couple of friends over and showed them the video of Walking After Midnight and Lies, and they were amazed at how incredible she sounded.

I'll have to check out some of the media, because I'm pretty sure the only two times were at Jingle Ball and the Connect Sets acoustic version. Here are the other three I know of: VH1 Acoustic BA Tour - Portland, OR www.4shared.com/file/170840153/3534562f/25_BTHE_-_Portland_-_LaurkAzus.htmlBA Tour - Vancouver, BC www.4shared.com/file/170982356/e27f80e1/14_BTHE__-_Vancouver_-_Smileyf.htmlObviously, these last two aren't as good as the others posted, as this was after two months of a tour in which Kelly pushed her voice to the MAX. And just because I want this incredible performance to be heard by others, here's the Connect Sets version:

Was 10x the concert The Circus Tour was. Why do you always feel the need to bring up and put down Britney? It's sad. Seriously. She has nothing to do with Kelly or Kelly's tour. That's exactly the kind of shit that starts unnecessary arguments and fan wars.

Listening to those Breakaway Tour audio makes me realize how much better, richer, more consistent, and musical her voice is now compared to then, wow..

I completely forgot about the VH1 perf, thanks. And yeah those other two are pretty strained, but she went for it! I'd love to hear her hit it now since her voice is so much richer and controlled.

I showed those videos to a friend of mine who used to call Kelly "oh that other Ashlee Simpson girl". After the videos he was all "omg I can't believe she can sing like that, I'm blown away".

I don't think Clarkson is underrated at all. However, she is in NO WAY OVERRATED. I think she gets the exact rating she deserves - a very high one.

I believe the acoustic Vh1 performance of Behind These Hazel Eyes, to this day, is her best vocal performance of that song; it was damn perfection. Actually, the performance of Breakaway and Because Of You from the same session are also my favorite performances of those particular songs as well; her voice was on fire that day.

Interesting you mention that, all three are cuts are on my PSP.
One of my favorite Kelly songs. Corny as it is, she seems to believe it. And when an artist believes in a song it always makes a song/performance THAT much better.

That particular session is on my Ipod (both video and audio). My favorite set of performances (vocally speaking) from Kelly eva.
In regard to Breakaway, it is definitely in my top five favorite Kelly songs. I love absolutely everything about it. It tends to be overshadowed by the singles that followed it, but it is most definitely a gem; I actually prefer it to Already Gone.

The Sony Connect sets are much better than the VH1 ones.

The Sony Connect sets are much better than the VH1 ones.[/quote That's because they were polished and smoothed out after the fact, just the like Napster performances.
