That isn't a reliable source. As Leona has concert on that day. Looks like they mixed up last year information with this year.

There's a big difference between the US and New Zealand. She doesn't live in New Zealand, talk about "grasping at straws" It's be funny if it wasn't so delusional.

The point is, an artist who had more creative control wouldn't be flying blind into any market she tours in, not even knowing what her label was promoting as the single there. Can you seriously imagine somebody like Beyonce having that happen?

I can't believe the Black Eyed Peas have yet another single out...looking at how many singles Gaga and BEP have released from their albums, while there's no going back and changing this era, I wonder for the next album if RCA will consider rolling out singles more quickly to get more of them to radio.
Probably not: Kelly's singles have mostly not sold multiplatinum individually, so the label probably wants to squeeze as much album promo as possible out of each single, rather than churning out a lot of singles to sell individually; Kelly's not inclined to do endless rounds of promotion for every single, especially if it conflicts with touring; and to the extent that a chunk of her airplay is coming from Hot AC and AC these days, those charts turn over a lot slower than Pop. So, I'm not sure it's going to be realistic to expect the next album to be handled that much differently than this one other than rolling it out at a different time of year.

So, I'm not sure it's going to be realistic to expect the next album to be handled that much differently than this one other than rolling it out at a different time of year. BEP's "Imma Be" went for adds at Dec. 15 and "Rock That Body" is going for adds at May 11. There's a period of 5 months in between, and I wouldn't call that churning out a lot of singles. I think that if Kelly, or Christina or Ke$ha or Adam for that matter, sell enough from each single while maintaining their album sales, then there's no reason why RCA wouldn't release them a single after a single, as they did from Daughtry's first album. IMO part of the reason why Kelly got a 4th single so late is that she just didn't sell as much as RCA wanted from AIEW during AG run, but if she sells enough from her album, she could have more singles then.

At her Brisbane concert, Kelly sang a mashup of If I Can't Have You and Can't Get You Outta My Head(Kylie Minogue). I liked it. The girl can do no wrong when it comes to mashups. I wonder if the song is an indication of where the album is heading.

I wonder if the song is an indication of where the album is heading. Her voice can practically do no wrong. I haven't heard a cover from her that doesn't make me prefer hers over the original. Even Keith Urban's was much better, The Promise, Seven Nation Army, and then this mash up. I have noticed how she's made her songs more clubby (IICHY, MLWSWY, Never Again, IDNHU, etc.) but still maintaining some really accoustic songs (AG, Lies). I see her heading the dance route since she appears to be performing her songs in that direction and enjoying it. IMO, it's the only sound she and her label could be so easily agreeing about. I really can't wait.

can't wait to get some media on the low, addicted, gone melody. low is one of only few songs i truly loved on Thankful. Well, the production i should say....like quite a few songs when stripped of the production.

Boxscore from Brisbane - not bad, but I'm disappointed that we get so few of these. All indications were that the European and South African shows sold really well.

aww, cute pic of Kelly with a Kangaroo. Kinda random, but the way she's looking at it plus the way its arm is on her kinda makes it look like its telling her a story or something. Lmao.

The lights are crazy during that performance I love them. The volume level on the green mic was terrible. She sounded great during the bridge as usual.
