I agree, T. Carrie is so much an advocate for animals, I'm sure her team researched it fully before she agreed to the endorsement.

Carrie made Perez Hilton today! lol cocoperez.com/2010-09-08-carrie-underwood-lands-a-new-job/?from=PHLooks like Olay Skin Care made a good choice with this one. Olay has chosen Carrie Underwood as their first-ever North American celeb ambassador. And it seems Carrie is loving it. Says the hottie: “As a little girl I remember my mom always using the original Olay Beauty Fluid and encouraging my sisters and I to take care of our skin. I love that Olay has managed to change with the times, yet stay in touch with women of all ages who want affordable skin care products that do what they promise.” And Carrie does seem to always have great skin. Though we’re guessing a lot of that has to do with genetics. Carrie is also set to appear in both print and TV ads for Olay’s “Challenge What’s Possible” campaign. Congrats bb! LMAO @ the last few pages. I didn't realize what a big deal this Olay/Animal-testing issue is for some folks. Perhaps I am closed-minded and ignorant, but regardless if Olay tests on animals, Carrie was and still is a vegetarian and a huge animal rights activist. Honestly, I don't give two s**tes if Olay tests on animals when it comes to Carrie. Carrie's endorsement of their products will not encourage or discourage any more or less animal testing, since Olay is like any other capitalistic company looking to make a buck. What I am happy for Carrie is the international exposure and likely great financial rewards from it that she will reap from this collaboration.

LOL she's killing the fans with her teaser blogs. I think she probably secretly enjoys reading comments from fans coming up with crazy guesses

LOL she's killing the fans with her teaser blogs. I think she probably secretly enjoys reading comments from fans coming up with crazy guesses Maybe she even takes her "surprises" in the direction of the guesses. If I were her, I would get on a Christmas album because when that was all being speculated, it seemed like something in high demand of Carrie fans... just as an example...

Here is a press release from Proctor and Gamble. It does not appear that they do any animal testing anymore:
Animal Testing Alternatives P&G Beauty & Grooming Animal Testing Principles
As for animal testing, P&G Beauty & Grooming's position is clear: We do not test our products on animals, nor do we ask suppliers to test them on our behalf.
We do not test ingredients on animals, except in very rare cases when necessary to meet government-mandates or safety obligations.
We are committed to continuing our key contributions in research to develop non-animal alternative methods which will ultimately permit the elimination of animal testing.
We apply these principles all around the globe, in every region and every country where we operate. http://www.pgbeautygroomingscience.c...ernatives.html

^ I suppose it could be one of the secret "writing for a project/ projects" thing she hinted at before? So many secrets, and they've been pretty good at actually keeping the secret stuff secret this time around.
Hee at this:

That must be the one on the new album! It's definitely a new one since it has the newest registration number. So pumped. It sounds like a beautiful ballad. Oh, and I'm glad she's continuing to work with Hodges. Their writing styles work well together.

See You Again is another newly registered co-write, same writers as Distant Lullaby. I think it's safe to say these are the tracks Carrie confirmed for the next album. And, I'm guessing the 3rd, currently unknown, co-write will accompany the Soul Surfer trailer. Just an assumption, though. I don't know exactly when it was registered It's very recent. Like this morning recent. I check those songwriting databases, like, LOL, every night. And, they definitley weren't there last night. It sounds like a beautiful ballad. Such an intriguing title. I gotta feeling it's about longing for kids. I could picture it being the perfect album closer.

The only pop writers I want Carrie to bring along next album are Hodges, Elizondo, and Chantal Kr... lol. Maybe Max Martin if Carrie cowrites with him. Otherwise, no thanks. I love Quitter, but I think I'd rather have Carrie cowrite the whole next album. Ideal cowriters for next album:
David Hodges Bill Anderson Jon Randall Tom Shapiro Darrell Scott Max Martin Chantal Kra... Mike Elizondo Hilary Lindsey Brett James Claude Kelly (:kii:) Aimee Mayo
I know I'm forgetting people.

I agree - i think it will be best to stick to a core group. one or two "outsiders" wouldnt hurt every once in awhile i guess

Well she wrote with Ashley Monroe and Vince Gill last time, wonder if any of those cuts were good? My personal dream collab (be it writing/producing/singing) for Carrie is Allison Krauss.

"Distant Lullaby" sounds like it would be a great song just by the title! I love speculating even though we may never hear it. I am just holding out hope that this is one of the songs that she said is going to be on an upcoming project. I love that title, and the writers are great in my book.

Ooh I love the sound of "Distant Lullaby." Wow that sounds like a beautiful, well written song.
I really liked Natalie Hemby's songs that she did with Miranda, and Play On is a decent album track, but I would love to see them write some more substantive songs together that could actually be singles material. I really like Natalie's work.

Is it possible that some of these tracks will be on a rerelease of "Play On?"

the theme of the two tracks (solely based on titles) seems to be something abuot distance - maybe carrie was missing the hubby when she co-wrote these songs.
