Just came in here to post this as well. LOL!
It's weird to think that this is only her third album in 15 years. Depending on how you look at it. Fumbling was 1993, Surfacing was 97, Afterglow 03 and now Illusion 10. (Not forgetting Solace 91 and Touch 88).
I'm somewhat looking forward to this. Sarah has never been a favourite of mine but I do enjoy her songs for the most part, they just never tend to REALLY hit me the way others would. But she does have a familiar and comforting presence with her music so I'm glad to hear about a new album.

Her Christmas album quickly became one of my favorites ever... for me it set an amazing mood of being ultimately content and at peace in a snowy cabin in the woods. It's just seriously beautiful. Also, I was rather blown away by her performance at the Olympics opening ceremony. Pause and Play now lists the release date as June 15. |

I Don't think she'll have a problem going Platinum, Afterglow went 2x Platinum, heck even Wintersong went platinum.

I've only heard 'River' from Wintersong but I do LOVE the sound and atmosphere of it. I think it's amazing. Very peaceful and calm, like that in a forest on a snowy day.... even though the lyrics aren't reflecting that of snow being there, more of a desire for snow.

I can't wait to hear the album. Although I'm not liking the first single, it sounds too much like Sara Barieles's "Love Song."
Though, I'm glad that "Don't Give Up on Us" is going to be on the album, that song is beautiful :).

Just based on the snippets, it sounds great. Definitely a signature Sarah.
I really wanna hear Awakenings and Love Come in full. They are the tracks that really jumped out at me. LC kinda reminds me of Fallen lyrically.
