The clip sounds promising. I am glad the studio version isn't going to be overly pop like her past singles "Love You With All of My Heart" and "Feels Just Like A Love Song" (which i assume won't even be included on the new record). I imagine it will still be on the record, but I don't care so much if its not, because I already have the single downloaded on my computer, so its not necessary for me to have it on the record

I hope this isn't considered 'solicitation', but I've got a 1:30 clip of "Stronger" (beginning of song to the end of first chorus) posted on the fansite. www.saraevansfansite.com

Sirius/XM has "A Little Bit Stronger" as the up & coming song of the week on their 'hot 30 countdown' today. They're playing the song quite a bit, so if you're interested in hearing it, just take a listen if you have access to satellite radio...

This sounds like it is going to be an amazing song, probably her best since 'Cheatin'". Can't wait to see if radio embraces her again...I really hope they do, she is one of the most talented females in the format.

It's too bad we have to wait until Sept. 20th to hear this on the radio, but I think that fall is a great time of year to release it. Such a great voice, and I wish the best for her.

I think the release date has a lot to do with the movie it's tied into. I say that but at the same time wish we had some Sara on the radio now. One of my stations here has been playing her more then usual with Suds and I Could Not Ask for More. It was just out of the blue!

I heard "Born to Fly" on the radio the other day. Livin' in her home state of Missouri I imagine that she's got at least some sort of a benefit as far as radio plays... I hear her quite often on the radio... I've heard "Coalmine" a lot, which wasn't a big hit (although I think it would've been, had it not been for the disaster).
If there's any artist who could make a comeback in the same boat, I think she would be the one. With the right song I could easily see her being picked back up by radio like what happened to Reba.

Was "Missing Missouri" released as a single? Nope, it just got a lot of airplay, enough to carry it to #52 on the chart I think it charted sometime around summer of 2006, likely between the end of "Coalmine" and the beginning of "You'll Always Be My Baby" I think it should've been released as a fifth single, IMHO though

The reason it wasn't released I think had a lot to do with the timing, she was in the middle of her divorce. The song mentioned loving her husband and that would be highly awkward considering how badly her divorce was going and well in the end went down. Personally I always loved Missing Missouri along with the Bible Song from that album.

Its my all-time favorite country album, so personally I love everything on it and wouldn't have cared much what the singles were 'cause I know I would've loved any of the choices
Its awful how badly the divorce went... you could almost blame that for the demise of her career, because she took time off from being the hit artist in the spotlight... and you could even say she was at the top of her game during that album: she won Female Vocalist at the ACMs and the album was her first #1
I'm glad it seems like the drought has finally ended now; with this release getting all the attention it deserves, I think everything could fall into place for her once again

I really hope this is a big hit on radio Sirius/XM is seriously spinning the stuffing out of this song right now — which is often a good indication of what will soon follow from regular radio stations... :)

That's great, I don't really know what that is, but if its good then I'm really happy
Thing I'm most excited about this single (aside from the forthcoming album release) is seeing a music video... a woman as gorgeous as Sara Evans shouldn't go w/ out a music video for 2 years, lol
Plus the videos are always top-notch with her... the iconic Wizard of Oz-themed "Born to Fly" and the comic "Suds in the Bucket"

That's great, I don't really know what that is, but if its good then I'm really happy Sirius/XM is satellite radio. They have a "new country" station, which is commercial free, and different from regular radio. (they basically play whatever they want, whenever they want) Their airplay doesn't get monitered by Billboard and Mediabase, but they usually play new singles right away. If a new song gets heavy airplay, it's often a good indication that the song will be a big hit which regular radio stations will soon pick up on. This isn't true 100% of the time — but it's certainly a good sign!

There has been a LOT of people referred to my Sara fansite by them searching for "Sara Evans- Stronger Lyrics." I've had a fansite for a while, but I've never had this much of a reaction to one of Sara's new songs. I think this will be HUGE for her!

OMG I love you people for telling me these things!
Sara Evans is the first and foremost reason I got into country music... I was at my Nana's house in 2003 and Sara Evans was on GAC for something performing a live rendition of "Backseat of a Greyhound Bus" and not long after that I saw the "Perfect" music video and it was a mtach made in heaven for me

Was "Missing Missouri" released as a single? I think it should've been released as a fifth single, IMHO though This was a missed opportunity, but the biggest crime was not releasing "Niagara," which is one of the most beautiful ballads ever. I still (not so) secretly hope we'll get a Niagara 2010. Love that she's coming back.

^ Do you mean like a new song thats like a Niagara 2.0, or you mean re-releasing Niagara? I think the only option would be the first of the two, since I think its been made clear the album is all-new material co-written by Sara Evans over the past 2 years
But she's def got too many outstanding tracks for radio to see all of them, IMHO lol

"Niagara Falls" is her BEST ballad on any of her CD's. BY FAR. I can never get enough of that song. It's such a shame it wasn't a single 6/7 years ago when she was a bigger name.
"Backseat Of A Greyhound Bus" is also one of my favorite songs of hers. I can't believe how much that one underperformed. Well, I guess I can, not really the most radio friendly song. But beautiful, nonetheless.

For what it was, she still managed to take it to #16 on the chart... I always thought that single should've had a music video, for one thing, it would've been great and I can picture it in my head each time I listen to it
I think "Rockin' Horse" should've been released as a single from that album... releasing "Tonight" was definitely a mistake
For me, Sara's best ballad is "Three Chords and the Truth," its a classic

For me, Niagara, I agree is her best song PERIOD, however, Tonight ranks up there in my Top 3 with These Four Walls probably being 2nd.

Also, I can't believe that "Saints & Angels" got to #16 and I have NO recollection of it at all. Was it really that forgettable? I liked it enough, but the song wasn't very radio friendly. I believe they released "I Keep Looking" shortly after they realized "Saints & Angels" wasn't going very far. Also, "Born To Fly" and "I Could Not Ask For More" (her previous two singles) were both still getting loads of airplay on my local stations when "S&A" became a single...

I just listened to the clip and was completely underwhelmed . I know alot of you are big fans and are happy to be getting new material from Sara. But I just don't hear (from the short clip, granted) , this being a huge "comeback" single. Seems quite vanilla to my ears.

I think "Saints & Angels" was a great song; it might not have been the most radio-friendly, but if you look at the album most of the songs on Born to Fly weren't either Still, that album was her overall most consistent hit-wise, everything was a Top 20 hit at the very least
