What does #18 in sales translate to? Is that under 10k?

Down to #18 on todays UK midweek. She's certain to break the record for biggest drop from #1 now. Could she fall all the way out of the top 20? break them records mommy!

It gave out a little 'free' too, but other then those two instances it was pretty goo I missed that- you are right. On 'free', she was a bit strained throwing her just a tad off-key. Although that note is not that high at C5, she sometimes seems to have trouble holding fifth octave notes in full chest voice as of late, which is probably why she prematurely ended 'free' with (unnecessary) melisma, IMO. I am slightly concerned because she has such a good voice and previously had a significantly higher threshold of encountering difficulty while holding fifth octave notes (~ E5). Please correct me if I am wrong. I'm anxiously awaiting, Mike Hunt's opinion on the matter as well. I have never been a fan of her singing the national anthem. Ever lol. The one last night was better than the one from Game 6, but still had some rough spots here and there. She oversings it SO much. Sometimes I think she does it because she doesn't know how to come off of certain notes. As I've said for years, she really just needs a vocal coach to help her with transitions and making things not so "heavy" sounding. Her voice is still there obviously, but some parts need tweaking. Overall it was okay. I've definitely heard far worse renditions. I would like to hear a studio version with an orchestra one day. She should also flip into head voice and maybe scale up on "freeeee." That vowel does not sit well in her voice when she tries to belt and sustain it.

come july, the bionic era will be a faded memory, since i think the album will plumet out of the top 100 within a month. there's just absolutely no interest in her from anyone beyond the core fanbase. sad to see in a way, even for a bitty like her.

^ LOL. At least she passed Glee this week and might spend another week in the top 10, lol. This album is so gonna struggle to get to 300K in this rate.

I hope Christina puts on more subtle, softer performances this era, like 'You Lost Me'. Some people really seem to be getting off on the underperformance of this record though. I don't think I have ever visited a thread like this one before consisting of THIS much poking fun of the thread's central artist.

^ It's all her fault. Xtina dissed Britney, Lady Gaga, Beyonce, Mariah, P!nk to name a few. The fans of those singers will never buy a Christina's album again no matter how good the music is. She dug her own grave

At this point, I wonder if there will be a second single. Maybe RCA has decided to cut their losses?

"You Lost Me" is boring.. I would think that dance remixes would be sent out immediately and pushed at pop, while the ballad would go to AC? She'll be looking at another #1 on the Dance Chart most likely.

FROM AFTERLD:
Bad news. Christina is on course to break the UK chart record biggest fall
She is currently 18 in the updates but it has been predicted she will be at 21 by Sunday. So will have dropped from number 1 to number 21. The worst and biggest fall in UK chart history.
This will get headlines so its bad PR.

What does #18 in sales translate to? Is that under 10k? You do not want to know UK album sales have been so bad recently. :'(

You sure it wasn't the other way around? Like she's the one with the wood? :o so maybe she hates on Gaga because she is uncomfortable with her own hermaphorditism? ???

She's done a lot of promo the last 2 weeks too. She tried. This happens to every artist, it'll be ok.

It was always likely to be a failure, lets not act that we ever thought it was going to do well. The direction she was going for was never going to sit well with the majority of her fans, let alone the mainstream public.
As a huge Christina fan all I take from this era is half a dozen good songs (a couple great) & am already moving on. She attempted an album she wanted to make and it failed. Get back in the studio and make a straight up pop record with a more conventional sound.

The thing I don't get with fans is why do they let success and sales change their opinion on the music? I mean, if you liked the album so much when it leaked, why would you all of a sudden say it's not good and she needs to move on just because it flopped? Either you like the music or you don't, the sales should have nothing to do with it.
