I'm surprised this one outperformed Cab. Cab was a better song IMO. Pat Monahan's voice seems a little nasal in Hey Soul Sister. On AAA, I am not that surprised. But this will in no way outperform Cab on HAC.

Far from the worst release of 2009 (I am actually surprised at you Noah for that classification). However, as I suspected, this will not be in the top 10 on HAC.

This is the best song released from David Guetta, IMO.

When was the last time an artist had five consecutive number one Chr/Pop hits (assuming of course Paparazzi and Bad Romance hit the top spot)? Mariah had five songs debut at #1 on Mediabase Not debut there, but they all reached #1.

Yeah MHWGO went 24-11-7-2-1 and stayed #1 for 9 weeks. Today's increase was ridiculous though, +248! I want this to have 3+ weeks at #1. It actually also spent 2 weeks in the 40s.

For anyone that cares, "Paparazzi" went top 40 on August 30th. If she can get to #1 in the next 9 days (it's a long shot), will that be the fastest rise to #1? No way. There are other songs that rose faster to #1 in the PPW. I'll Be There For You and My Heart Will Go On are two that come off the top of my head.

This reminds me of White Town's "I could never be your girl". Low budget production, living at home, coming out of nowhere, huge hit, probably headed nowhere afterward too. I believe you mean "Your Woman".

i think this has a long shot of getting 3 weeks now at number 1. A longshot? It's pretty much guaranteed at this point.

This song has come almost to a complete halt on the pop chart. Its bullet has plummeted and its spin increases are terribly small now. It could be peaking very soon.

I like the song, but I always heard the acoustic version of it.

I think seeing Jay Sean's success, Universal may be trying to capitalize and push another huge British male stateside. With The Script and Muse getting decent adds recently on CHR as well, it could work. Universal also did do a great job with Jay. The issue is the STYLE of music. Jay Sean fits the R&B/dance/RHY niche that is "in" on pop radio. Mika's music style - not so much.

I think this song easily deserves top 20. It's sad that there is such a traffic jam near the top that it is preventing songs on the lower end of the chart from picking up lots of spins they otherwise would deserve.

This the WORSE song EVER!! It's shockingly bad. First I hope you mean "worst". Secondly, "ever"? Come on now. I can think of many more songs that could be considered far more irritating than this song (although I like it).

Smash! I predict a #4-8 finish on CHR, with lots of longevity. I agree with the peak, but I don't agree with the longevity. I think the song will fall relatively "fast", if not have an average fall. It is one of those songs that I could see have a good burn rate and people in 2-3 months will be tired of and get ready to have it off the radio.

Wow, if Boys Like Girls continues gaining, even mildly, this could take 2 weeks to reach the top 10. And that is IF "3" doesn't pass it.

Oh hey, is that the sound of Anberlin becoming one hit wonders? I think it is. LOL. Anberlin is NOT a one hit wonder, anymore than say Switchfoot, Eminem, or Outkast are. The band is very popular on another format and made a crossover attempt that succeeded greatly with one single and simply cannot follow up strongly with a second one.

And suddenly at least 5 stations were added to the panel, making for really large updates for most songs today.

Why is this in the top 20? It's so tween-ish. Why is Miley Cyrus about to go #1 and have over 10000 spins with her newest song? Probably the same reason.
