Atleast she's moved on from that flop of a song with her boyfriend. That song was better than this one.

Forever? LOL, only 4.5 months. That's like a #1 debut in the AC world. i meant compared to the pace of this song in general going from number 2 to number 1 took forever. this song basically had a 200+ bullet the entire time until it got to number 2, then it slowed lol For AC that was still very fast. Remember Love Story vs. I'm Yours? Taylor Swift was at #2 for like forever before hitting #1 (and briefly). Other songs like "That's The Way It Is" spent a wonderful 19 weeks at #2 and still could not get to the #1 spot on AC.

When AT40 did a countdown of the songs of the 1990s I don't remember it being spin-based.

I miss Casey Kasem on AT40, and now AT20 is over. The end of a major era in radio history...

Oh I thought it had something to do with the holiday. The Sample Hours are still accessible...

^ It was. It spent 21 weeks at number one on the chart. On Mediabase/R&R, it was *only* 19 weeks.

Listen to Your Heart Just like a Pill Huh? These are not uptempo? Listen To Your Heart was the dance mix that hit #1 on pop radio. And Just Like A Pill as a slow song? I didn't realize that an acoustic version was played. ;) I almost included Who Knew on this list, but I could see how some people might think that's slow. I don't, but that one could be debatable.

I can only hope that after the July 4th slowdown that this song picks up again. It deserves top 10, if not top 5. It is really one of the best pop songs of the year.

If this is over, that's absolutely awful. All of their 5 singles from their debut could go top 20, but not their 1st single from this album? That's not a good sign at all. I think this is a tragedy as well, although to be fair "What About Now?" barely made the top 20 (#19 for 1 week). I think part of the problem is that the song is not a "standout" or "new sound" for Daughtry. But I do wish it could rebound somehow.

This song needs to go top 5, if not #1. Best pop record of the summer IMO.

I heard this on 92 PRO-FM. The first time I heard it, I was like "I wonder what song will be sampled in this one?" (It came on after Right Round). And sure enough, there it was attempting to steal some of Gloria Gaynor's light. Unfortunately, it just doesn't work for this song. I'm not a fan of it, and haven't been a fan of this era in general (I Hate This Part was just OK).

There isn't really a clean version of "Birthday Sex". Actually, there is (at least for the radio version I heard online). "Birthday Shhhhh.... Birthday shhhh"

I heard Out From Under on Kiss 95.1 in Charlotte. Sounded good on the radio. Why are they not playing Radar?

No more Christian CHR charts!!! :'( On a more serious tone, I am one of those "original" R&R board members who found my way over to R&R in 1998 and then joined the forums like 2 years later on the site. So many great memories. I remember waiting every Friday for the charts to see if my favorite song at the time was moving up. Then, when we found Mediabase lists online, it just grew more crazy! I also remember the first time I posted the "Sans Recurrent Rules" chart for AC and called it the "Real AC Chart." Anyways, my visits to R&R grew less over the years except starting in 2004 I checked it regularly for the Christian charts since Mediabase didn't carry those. But I did occasionally still visit... RIP Radio & Records. You will be sorely missed. :'(
