She'll definitely be offered a performance slot, and if she's able/willing to actually perform it'll likely be one of the artist tribute spots.

Not sure her performance has been consistently impressive enough (who am I kidding, the GG are almost always mostly influenced by hype and $$$), but go girl, get two more letters for your EGOT.

YAS!
Still consistently slayed by Heartthrob. Closer should have been a Top 20 smash.

Ugh my family found old home movies of my grandma as a child and we were watching them and this song came on the playlist I made for our Thanksgiving party. (Only I noticed and was pretty much a mess.)

Chris Stapleton nabbed the Country spot in the AOTY, which I was praying she would get. He had all the hype and momentum going in, plus Traveller was fantastic. Hoping she can pull a win out of her hat!
Just got my tickets to see her in Milwaukee (since there's no Chicago date, goddamnit).

I could see her maybe taking Pop Vocal Album, if only because Swift has plenty of other categories to win. But I don't think "Heartbeat Song" stands a chance against "Thinking Out Loud" or "Blank Space" for Pop Vocal Performance. Still, surprised and thrilled that she managed to land multiple nominations. As poignant as a "Piece By Piece" performance would be, she should definitely take the time off to rest for her vocal health and pregnancy's sake. It will make her eventual comeback in 2016/2017 that much more anticipated. I think Taylor gets Pop Vocal Album, as Kendrick takes AOTY. It gives the Grammy's the best of both worlds, plus we get to see the meltdowns of the century on Twitter. Kelly will remain unbothered, pregnant, and ready for her next Grammy-nominated project.

Up against Florence again, just like at the 2013 Grammy's. :'( Also, poor Carly and Emotion. No respect.
When Stronger won, I imagine a lot of popular acts split the vote, and she snuck in as a dark horse. The category this year is basically built for 1989 to get 95% of all the votes.

Legitimately laughed out loud at the Heartbeat Song nomination. I don't know if she's just a Grammy darling now or if RCA went balls-to-the-wall for her as part of their campaign to re-sign her. The PxP nomination is amazing and unreal, though. Queen of Nominations. Even ha flop eras get noticed.

Just listened to a bit of this, but probably won't deep dive into it until January.

Her and her team have always been on point with her promo spots. They always seem perfectly timed, and result in sales spikes.

That's the thing with Gaga. Even if she's not as visible now as she was at her peak, she's still a household name because of just how massive her peak was. As long as her new material is hot and her team is 100% behind the project (the latter being the underlying issue for ARTPOP), I see no reason why she can't have a major comeback. I do agree with this. I was reading the Gaga vs Rihanna star power debate going on in the Anti thread not long ago, and what so many were failing to realize was that while Rihanna has been the bigger star for a few years, Gaga was way bigger at her peak than Rihanna has ever been. Quite frankly, she was bigger at her peak than any artist from the last decade besides Adele has been. If she were to make a comeback I've no doubt her presence would be massive again. She was a megastar once, that doesn't just go away forever with a lull in your career. I mean it could if she doesn't play her cards right, but she still has the potential at least to get back to that. Fingers crossed. The true test of a star isn't how big they are/were, but if and how they overcome the backlash and slide from their biggest point. She's triumphant so far.

Has she even signed with any label? I'm curious about this as well. Even if she has, they'll likely save the announcement for the media rollout for her next project, whatever that may be. These types of things often come to light on companies' websites/artist portfolios before their officially announced, though.

This has surged to #10 on US iTunes. Radio will continue paying it dust, though. Chandelier teas.

It's okay. Can't wait for Jay Sean ft. Becky G in 5-10 years, though.

I've been thinking about 25/PxP, Adele, Kelly, Pink, how they've talked about writing and recording after marrying and becoming mothers, and the fear of becoming "boring." I realized that Wrapped in Red was actually Kelly's 'happily in love and now I'm boring' album, and we got super lucky that was the case. A Christmas album is the perfect place for that kind of unrestrained sentiment. I will be forever thankful that we didn't get whatever a non-holiday (Brandon's Song) would have been.
Wrapped in Red also makes me wish that she would do more collaborative writing for her next album. Working with Kurstin from start to finish to create a fully-formed, cohesive album turned out her best writing on an album by far. Accepting submissions for songs is great, but it should be obvious by now that her best material is when she has a hand on the steering wheel. Just one hand though, or we end up with "I Had a Dream"

Hoping this can have a similar run to Elastic Heart. They should look into getting a new video, not necessarily official music video, but anything There's a huge opportunity to have this be a theme for a survivor's group, like cancer, domestic violence, or anything. It would be such a powerful performance with a message.

It's catchy, and it's doing well on itunes. It's very Meghan Trainor, it could easily be one of her singles That's what struck me. This would be much better if it was just Meghan. Also, it looks like blowing a kiss at the end of a performance/song is going to be his "thing." Anyway, I don't particularly like it, so I'm sure it will do well. EDIT: Nevermind, I'm going in on him. The video is cute, but transparent as f**k. Anything to avoid having him eyeing an actual man or having him display any signs of actual sexual interest in another man in a song about longing for boys. This just reduces gayness to nothing more than eye shadow, glitter, and velour jackets. Goodbye.

"I Miss You" is her most interesting song to date, great and detailed production work. Instant add on my playlist. The rest of the album ranges from cute to boring to me, with the vocals being the saving grace for some of the tracks. Much like 21. I Miss You gives me Forence + The Machine teas and I LOVE IT.
