This did really well for me (Top 10) as well... and I like the CD quite a bit. It has a pretty good variety of sounds on it, though nothing too "heavy". It's a good disc to chill out to.
The Max - I can send you some other tracks off of it - just look for me online!

It's just the right time of the year for this song to break on to the airWAVES... it's got some "tempo", great lyrics and a refreshing end of summer lamenting sound. Dido deserves another hit, and the time is now...

This was my #19 song of 2004! :) Of course I might re-chart it if it follows the Gavin DeGraw path to success... I still really love the song, and the album.

AOL First Listen is premiering the video this weekend - it's very good! So I guess it's going for adds now finally after all? Meanwhile, "White Flag" is scaling back up the Hot 100!

Hey!
Yes, Beth's song is terrific. Actually her whole CD of the same name is quite good. You can tell that Beth was totally inspired writing these songs. And "Leave The Light On" is my #1 song this week! (Of course "Clocks" was a #1 for me as well... glad you are liking the songs I sent!!!)

Yes it's very good - I haven't actually heard the new recording, but have heard an old version and a couple of live versions as well. I am really looking forward to hearing this newly recorded version!

Anyone see the really bad review in Billboard? They rarely trash songs, but they really dissed this one. In the end, they called it a "lemon of a song". I personally think it's not all that bad! The last song I remember Billboard really ripping on that became successful was "Get The Party Started" by Pink.

Great to see Kristine W return to #1! Too bad that last one only got #2 to break that streak...

Can't wait to hear the remixes. Also cannot understand how "It's All True" never hit the Club Play chart. Astralwerks used to have songs top that chart quite often! I know Tracey's not doing any promotion etc. but that was too good to ignore!!

Wow 21 weeks for Pet Shop Boys in one run - that's an eternity on this chart. Which begs the question - why are so few songs debuting these days? There have been plenty of "breakouts" not making the chart as well, some of them definitely worthy!

When is Tracey Thorn going for adds with "It's All True" - seems like that would be an immediate success on this chart!

I had charted this song quite a few months ago but it's always nice to see Billie Ray Martin surface on a music chart! Quite a talent!

i like it... about time. always knew she could pull off a dance track. ;) and yeah... i like the original as well. ;) I love'd Plumb's song "Damaged" from several years ago - the remix is one that I still listen to today! I don't even know who did the remix but it's amazingly good. The original was in the movie "Brokedown Palace" as well.

The video is HOTT... I did see it on my Time Warner Cable last night in fact! I had to watch it 2 or 3 more times as well... whoa! :o
I never really thought of Emma like this before - I guess I just thought she was more "immature" - hehe.
Definitely worth checking out - and yes it's the Dr. Octavo mix. Someone else mentioned a video for "Maybe" but I haven't seen that one yet!

Thanks! I hope Kristine W can keep her #1 streak going. I was getting a little worried, but the 17-10* jump is better! It's getting crowded at the top but we will see if she can do it!
And I would assume Madonna's "Sorry" will crash in next chart?
Thanks for posting!

I thought "Get Together" was going to be on this one as well? Are they moving that to a third release? And how can I hear the remixes of "Sorry"? :)

"Avalon" is up to #10 on the Dance Radio Chart... has anyone heard anything more about the album release in the USA? What about a follow-up for the clubs? Thanks!

Ahhh well just to confirm it appears that this has hit the Dance Radio Chart in Billboard at #21 - for the week of 5/7... glad to see it's getting a little radio play at least! She's in her 15th week on the Club Play list, which is pretty long for that chart. I bet this sounds great on the air! Any release date for the album yet?!

Ok I love this now... especially the JLC version. I also heard what will be the album version on the Astralwerks web site and it is even longer! Like 7.5 minutes, with somewhat different sounds.
I also watched the video for this on her web site (www.julietsounds.com) - it was rather strange. In the promo photos Juliet has a bleach-blond look, and in others and the video she has black hair. And the entire thing is inside a tunnel... very dark. Check it out! I am excited to hear more from her.
Also, anyone know why this is called "Avalon" - I haven't quite figured that out yet.

Update: For the 1/22 Billboard Club Play Chart...
KRISTINE W's "THE WONDER OF IT ALL" leapfrogs 5-1*, keeping her streak intact! All of her club songs dating back to the early 90's have reached #1, including her collaboration with Murk ("Some Lovin'") which is unprecedented!
To reach the top she had to jump over Delerium feat. Sarah McLachlan, who move 4-2 with "Silence 2004." Congratulations Kristine! Now if I only could hear the mixes!

I hope she makes it again with this one - it's gonna be close I think. Both the #4 and #6 songs are pretty competitive (the new version of Delerium's "Silence" and the new version of Rod Stewart's "Do Ya Think I'm Sexy) and rising as well. I think her best shot would be to vault over Delerium in the next 1-2 weeks. That being said I have yet to hear the remixes of this!

Yes Kristine W has done it again...
"Save My Soul" skips 5-1* on Club Play this week (4/17), maintaining her perfect streak of #1 club hits!
Congrats Kristine! ;)
