This sounds like a song by The Eels, maybe "Mental" or some other song I can't recall.

Betting we will see this in top 10 on Billboard Hot 100 by the end of this year? It isn’t all that catchy so it might not.

I like it more than Next to Normal which was my favorite of theirs until this song. The bass is very infectious.

Has anyone predicted the fragmentation of music consumption, which is starting to feel more permanent?

I think this is their best song since 2017.

Chorus sounds like “If I Lose Myself”, making this song the best OneRepublic song in 10 years.

It is really catchy. If it cross-overs to pop it will have an extremely long shelf life. Expect it to show up on Billboard YE 2024.

Doesn’t have mass appeal. Their voices do not mesh well. It will perform like “Don’t Call Me Angel” if anything.

I see Dave Bayley is taking the Nate Ruess route.

Been around a week since this hit headlines and I think people have completely forgot about it already.

Her first memorable song. Probably because it is basically a Julia Michaels song.

EOM, Stay, and Heat Waves are all probably ending up in Top 10 this year. With how stale the charts look, I won’t be surprised if they are the top 3 in that order. One month later, and I’m almost certain this will be the top 3.

Clearly his most pop friendly song. One can only wonder why it was never pushed to CHR a decade ago.

It’s really just a very boring song. Makes “Everything Has Changed” sound like an arena rock anthem.

I like Big Thief fine, but someone with indie pedigree should explain why their Vance Joy-adjacent output is praised as groundbreaking music.

Extremely polished song that reminds me of a car commercial.

Should have pushed "Back to the Future" which has the same riff as Heat Waves.

I found both songs by I DONT KNOW HOW BUT THEY FOUND ME as annoying as their band name, but both seems to be still in?

I still don’t quite get this. It’s not all that catchy to my ears either. Will probably have to see the movie.

Does the verses sample the Pachelbel Canon chords?

The “moment” for this song (if there was any) has already passed in my opinion.

I rank TikTok songs higher due to sheer familiarity.

Co-written with Dan Nigro. Explains why it is her poppiest song.

I really wish she would stop doing ASMR and make songs like “Queen of Disaster” more.

The closest thing about the song to “Stay” is the BPM. It’s sonically more similar to Bad Habits I think.
