It's a shame Adele isn't more popular, she has a lot of talent compared to some of the auto tuned garbage topping right now. Who says she isn't popular? Do you mean album sales? She's a brand new artist from another country. For her just coming out, and having already one a best new artist grammy last year - I think it's safe to say her talent is very much acknowledged. Singles sales, album sales, the whole package. I love her, but popularity wise she doesn't touch the crap of Kesha, Katy Perry, etc. I know she's from a different country, but her talent deserves more recognition. |

Yeah, i think the down popularity isn't so bad... if she can keeps doing good work. She isn't the commercial type, and it's really rare see artist that are really good and talented being popular. From what I remember I can talk about Alanis Morissette and Norah Jones that have big sales and were popular for a period. Adele is amazing, and have already gave us an amazing debut album and looks like she is giving us another masterpiece. The problem is not hers if she is not popular, the problem belongs to those who did not listen and are wasting her talent.

Hasn't "19" sold around 875,000 in the US alone? With nothing even close to a mainstream hit? I'd say she's a pretty phenomenal seller for a non-pop artist who released after 2007.

I haven't been a fan of Adele, but that right there, was amazing. I love the way it sounds and her voice just is amazing on this song. Will be keeping an eye on this new CD of hers. It might be something I will like. |

Yea, Plus she is well loved here in the UK  19 went 2x platinum - 600k (well more like 700k+ now). Which is the equivelant of a 3m+ selling album in the US (if you look at population). Also hasn't Chasing Pavements gone Gold in the US? Great performance on Ellen!  |

"Rolling in the Deep" just might top my 2010 favorites list. I can't think of another song that even comes close, aside from "Back to December."

so excited for this one. i admit, i cringed when i heard some of her interviews prior to the song being released but i am pleasantly surprised and now cant wait. i listen to 19 and realize how acoustic it is and at times a little lifeless, naive, etc. all those things that change with growing up. 21 should be great. 2011 is really shaping up to be strong
