In doing so, "21" becomes the 21st album to shift 10 million since the firm began tracking data in 1991. Work that numerology, Miss Adkins And to add to that, Adam (UTR) tweeted that it's also been released for 21 months.

It's been exciting watching this album climb and break almost every record along the way. I wonder how much higher it can go. I don't think another 2-3 million over the years is out of the question. If turning tables was released I think this would've been passing 11 million this holiday season

They can also release Don't You Remember to country radio.

I wonder why they released Rumour Has It instead of Turning Tables or Don't You Remember. Rumour Has It has no mainstream appeal

So radio has really bad taste in music :) I hope radio picks up Turning Tables or Don't You Remember Me. I think turning tables is the only song on the record left with tons of chart appeal. Don't you remember is a good song but I think turning tables would be a hot ac / ac smash and a pop hit and even get minor rhy play. The song has already sold 700k

It became a hit because radio jumped on it on their own. Billboard announced RHI as a single though (twice I think; once before they switched to Set Fire and again after SF's run). That's probably all it took for radio to latch on, even when it was never actively serviced.

I'm still disappointed I never got a RHI video; that's all I wanted. *sigh*

I'm still pissed TT was never released. Third best song on the album. I had always assumed it was. “Turning Tables” was the first song I heard by Adele (that I know of), through Gwyneth Paltrow’s version on Glee. Even though I hate Paltrow, I loved that song, looked it up, and became an Adele fan. Probably my favorite on the album after "Rolling in the Deep." If she's not going to have another album in several years, maybe they will release it? I hope so, but I'm sure most of the world has heard it already from those album numbers. :o

This week iTunes store started operating in a couple of new markets, including Turkey, and "Skyfall" immediately went #1, with "Rolling in the Deep", "Someone Like You" and "Set Fire to the Rain" in the top 10 all at the same time She's a true international phenomenon.

Adele scored a nod in Pop Solo Performance for SFTTR (live). Kind of shocked that the DVD is nowhere to be seen based on the critical acclaim AND that fact that it's the best selling music DVD of the past few years.

Britney Spears didnt sell 10 M copies with Oops ?? Unofficially if you add in the sales from Columbia House, BMG, and other music club services.

I don't understand why TT wasn't just tossed out as a single? It would have easily prolonged the era and sold on its own.

I think radio stations are starting to play it. I've heard it 4x yesterday. Not sure if it's the same in the US

FUCK YEAH "Skyfall" is deemed eligible for Oscar nomination! It was feared that the sampling of the original Bond tune might be against the rules. But Academy accepted it. I'll be pissed if she doesn't get this!

^ A lot of experts think that the new song written for the Les Mis film is the favorite.. But this could be Adele's one chance at an Oscar.. She deserves it.
