Kelly Clarkson - "Stronger" - Oct. 24

I'm not sure what to say about the four additional leaks since yesterday, other than I LOVE Kelly's voice on 'Dark Side' and 'Breaking', especially where she utilizes one of the most gorgeous head voices in music today. I'm floored at how well she eases from chest to head voice, which cradles the lyric so brilliantly. I do not like Kelly's voice during the choruses of 'Don't Be A Girl'- it sounds as if she is purposely yelling angrily, whereas in her own demo, it sounds more natural.

I was pleasantly surprised at how 'Lonely' turned. Very beautiful, more of an album track, if included, but seems to not fit with the trend of songs thus far. As far as ballads go, 'Standing', 'Call Me', 'Give Up On Me', and 'Breaking' are the strongest, IMO....

Regardless, with all the leaks, it is clear that the vocal chameleon has struck again and continues her reign in mainstream music, IMO.

On a more positive note, we possibly may have a new single to dissect, analyze, follow, and purchase in just two weeks !! :)

DBAGAI would smash with the right production. Now it just sounds dated and crappy.
IWICBLI has a beautiful chorus, but overall it's too mellow for my taste and I'm not sure if I like it...
Hopefully these are the last leaks before the album drops. It's so unfair to Kelly and the people behind the scenes, and I don't want the album/single to be pushed back anymore.

Holy crap, "Dark Side" is exactly what I've been waiting for. The song has hit written all over it. Plus, it showcases Kelly's vocals bloody brilliantly.

My top 5 based off all the leaks we've heard (even if they have no chance of making the album :():

3) Wash, Rinse, Repeat
4) What Doesn't Kill You

That's what I thought as well. Same with "Ready to Go", "Dance", "Who's That Girl", and "Turn It Up, Turn Me On", which is a shame because I would love to hear the finalized versions.

Totally disagree. I'd love for most Kelly duets to be on others' records. I think it'd be a great opportunity for her to sing in other genres while still at RCA, give her exposure to new audiences, and I think it's awesome that so many people want to duet with her. I don't get how that could ever make her seem like a back-up singer, especially since she is often the highlight of the duet (Tamyra is the only one so far that could match her IMO).

I completely agree. Honestly, Kelly could never seem like the back-up singer. I don't think it's possible with her voice. She just automatically shines through on the song.

I'm waiting for her and Natasha Bedingfield to do a duet. I keep mentioning it in the hopes that it'll come true, after that Coke event.
