I can't believe Oh Santa! fell to #4. Hopefully it can battle All I Want for #1 in the weeks leading up to Christmas.

Ask Billboard reports that Evancho's track sold roughly 4,000 to rank No. 1.

Awww shit looks like Mariah's all-time title as the #1 artist in the history of the chart could be challenged in two weeks.

31 31 33 4 You're A Mean One, Mr. Grinch, Boris Karloff 29 They really should fix this credit, since Karloff didn't sing on this.

I can just imagine a press release from IDJ about Mariah's next album, "... from the artist that holds the record for most #1's on Billboard's 'Holiday/Seasonal Digital Songs' chart" lol
btw, thanks for posting 2m :)

^Oh, definitely. Mimi's labels beef up any commercial success achievement they can. Most acts, I'd think, want to do well and enjoy doing well, but she has shown countless times that she's into the charts more so than the average act.
I imagine Mimi will spend a decent amount of time at the top of this chart, and "All I Want..." should reach No. 1 again on Recurrent Singles (which the label also points out in the fluff-puff press releases).

LOL, Mariah has already dominated so many Billboard charts that "Top Holiday/Season Digital Songs Artist" seems a bit too niche for her. But I am happy there's yet another chart for her to rule for all eternity.

Too niche? When Memoirs failed to top the Billboard 200, Island went right to the Nielsen/SoundScan R&B Albums Chart and touted that in the release- that's kinda niche, too (though not as much as Holiday Digital Songs).
And as popular as Taylor is, she can't touch Eartha's original classic. (same gores for Madonna's cutesy Betty Boop version).

LMAO @ HolidayGuy pretending to ignore what PR is - in his never-ending cruise against Mariah's chart achievements.
Let's take a look at Ciara's fresh of the oven press release :
Press releases have nothing to do with the fact that Mariah is obsessed with the charts - which I reckon she clearly is. She's not the one writing them. They have to hype the artist. If they can do it with Ciara, then they definitely can do it with Mims.

The R&B chart is not niche.

I know what PR is, studied it, and all- which is why I easily recognize the fluff and puff, especially in regards to stats. :) And i know that Mimi's PR writers aren't the only ones who do it.
Cruise against chart achievements? They are what they are, there's nothing to "cruise" against. :)
I fully expect Mimi to return to the top of Holiday Digital Song.

They're definitely not the only ones that do it but honestly, if I read about her being "positioned as the only active recording artist with the potential to surpass the Beatles record of #1 singles" one more time, I'm going to throw up. lol They've been writing since "Heartbreaker" went to #1.
I still love me some Mariah, though!

^If U.S. radio ageism continues for acts 40+, then I would agree. Perhaps something will come along with a scenario similar to "Glee," only with No. 1 hits rather than :just" Hot 100 entries.

Most acts, I'd think, want to do well and enjoy doing well, but she has shown countless times that she's into the charts more so than the average act. She or her label? It's not like she types her own press releases ??? And what's wrong about reminding people of her chart achievements? They are just doing their job and you keep blabbing about it. So predictable. Too niche? When Memoirs failed to top the Billboard 200, Island went right to the Nielsen/SoundScan R&B Albums Chart and touted that in the release- that's kinda niche, too (though not as much as Holiday Digital Songs). The R&B chart is important and Mariah is an R&B artist. What is your point again?

#1 Mariah doesnt write her own press releases. #2 Mariah HAS broken countless chart records. Why wouldnt her press releases focus on that? Maybe some other artists' press releases dont focus as much on chart achievements because their resume isnt as impressive.
