^ I think it's pretty much a forgone conclusion that she won't be #1 this week.

Top 10 Digital Sales.
1. Glee Cast - Teenage Dream (214K) 2. Ke$ha - "We R Who We R" (191K) 3. The Black Eyed Peas - "Time (The Dirty Bit)" (170K) 4. Katy Perry - "Firework" (161K) 5. P!nk - "Raise Your Glass" (160K) 6. Rihanna - "What's My Name?" (152K) 7. Far*East Movement feat. Cataracs & Dev - "Like A G6" (142K) 8. Rihanna - "Only Girl (In The World)" (129K) 9. Nelly - "Just A Dream" (124K) 10. Trey Songz feat. Looks like it's Far East Movement who will take the top spot.

While it is likely, we don't know for sure just yet. The BDS numbers aren't exactly the same as the Mediabase ones. Might make a difference in this case.

IMO, it's still between Rihanna, Far East Movement and Pink. All hovering around the 243-245 points mark. I hope Pink gets it!

Good luck, and good on whoever gets it! :) I just wish P!nk could, because it would be the icing on the cake for her. She just announced she's pregnant and this will just top it off for her!

I'm hoping for Rihanna or P!nk. G6 is old news now. Would be a very uneventful #1. But the numbers are what they are so...

I would be fine if P!nk or Rihanna got that coveted #1 spot. Both songs deserve it imo. :)

I'd be happy with P!nk or Rihanna as well. Actually rooting more for P!nk since Rihanna already got hers.

It's probably Like a G6 that hit #1 because otherwise Billboard would have announced Rihanna or Pink hitting #1 today.

The only way a single "deserves" to be No. 1 is if it has the most overall airplay, sales and streaming points in a given week.

Rihanna's chances rest on BDS airplay & streaming.

Thisw has got to be the closest top 3 in a long time. They are all about the same in points when you add up the airplay and sales, but it might just be streaming that puts one over the top, not to mention that the airplay numbers the Hot 100 uses are a bit different to Mediabase's numbers.
I hope it's Rihanna or Pink but my gut tells me it's FEM

FEM: 103 + 142 = 245 Rihanna (OG): 114 + 129 = 243 Pink: 83 + 160 = 243
You pump up airplay a bit (BDS is usually higher, yes?) And that makes it FEM vs. Rihanna and super close!

What do they do if two songs have the same amount of points, even with streaming?

What do they do if two songs have the same amount of points, even with streaming? That NEVER happens. When airplay and sales are this close, streaming is the tie breaker. I'm thinking the delay is due to BB being extra careful because of the closeness of data.

This has been the most stressful and long wait for a chart I've ever experienced. That said, I'm obviously rotting for RihRih, but I'd be very happy if P!nk gets it too. I just hope G6 is not that winner this time. I really like the song, but I want something new.

I'm hoping Rihanna takes it, it would be amazing for a previous single to be #1 after a single released after it was already #1... that and FEM was already #1 and I like it better than RYG ;)

I hope OG can pull it!!! If OG fails to hit #1, is it still possible to hit #1 next week?

I wouldn't be surprised if Def Jam has been inquiring about the winner in this close race to BB just to make sure a proper press release is in order.

To be fair. Paul declared LTWYL #1 one week premature. So he has been wrong before. LTWYL ended up spending 7 weeks at #1 eventually but Paul gave it to him a week early and was wrong. So i wouldn't take that as official.

What a f**king downer :(
I was rooting for RYG and to a lesser degree OG (just because if Rihanna had made history today, her stans would have been insufferable).
Anyways who will be #1 next week???
PS: Does anybody knows when they are releasing to itunes Hold My Hand by MJ????
I think that song will hog the #1 position the Christmas weeks and well into 2011, so RYG and others songs better hurry up and reach that position.
