Burlesque DVD did 8.5 million in the US in the first week. Amazaing. It sold 498,615 units including blu-ray and all other forms of media. The gross of that sale is $8,471,469. Seems good. However, I don't follow DVD sales too much so I don't know what this means yet. But for comparison: Dreamgirls (which was a success at the box office) sold 1,546,152 units on it's first week with a first week gross of $30,601,595. Rent (which was a flop at the box office) sold 899,096 units on it's first week with a first week gross of $14,367,554. |

OMG i was finally able to watch Burlesque. Xtina was spectacular,she can act,really act.She definitlly needs to do more movies. IKR right?!  @ Christina being the best part of this movie. Maybe it was just my low expectations but I was thinking Glitter Pt 2. Not so much . Granted the storyline kinda moved along pretty fast but then again, I don't think it needed to be 3 hours long so it did its job nicely. Christina had chemistry with everyone she was against too. I was actually proud of her, especially in light of all the bad press.  |

I'm glad Christina is slowly coming back from the Bionic disaster(ish) event. I just wish she would go back to a darker hair color. She looks really odd in those photos with platinum blond, and she looked much better during the Stripped era. |

Apparently, her and Adam get along really well and flirt/play argue a lot during the tapings. I secretly think they would be insanely hot together. Apparently, she also made fun her herself/laughed at herself during the taping. Of course, that will somehow be twisted into her being a stuck up pretentious bitch who should die, but sounds like they are having fun with it.
