:o There is a crazy line up at Coachella this year - with real heavy hitters across the board. I'll definitely be going Arcade Fire, Kanye West, the Strokes, Animal Collective, PJ Harvey, the National, Bright Eyes, Robyn, Ariel Pink, Interpol, Cut Copy, Crystal Castles, Lauryn Hill, Sleigh Bells, Cee-Lo, Lightning Bolt, the reunited Big Audio Dynamite and Suede, Duran Duran, Erykah Badu, the Black Keys, Titus Andronicus, Best Coast, the Kills, the New Pornographers, Lil B, HEALTH, OFF!, Odd Future, and the Chemical Brothers are among the acts playing. pitchfork.com/news/41250-coachella-2011-lineup-revealed/

It says Lauryn Hill for the first day but I bet she doesn't show up until Sunday.

It says Lauryn Hill for the first day but I bet she doesn't show up until Sunday. That is probably why they put her on the first day...so she has time to arrive and perform before it's over.

Yeah, she's this year's Sly Stone. I caught his set last year on the webcast and to say it was a trainwreck would be a ridiculous understatement.

Word is Daft Punk pulled out because they didn't have a proper show ready. That would have crowned it for me. I would have been there. I'm sure DP will do Bonnaroo now at this point.

Ellie Goulding, I'd go just for her but sadly I do not have any means of transportation. :(

Lauryn Hill was in good spirits during her first Coachella appearance. L. Boogie, draped in a flowing blue-and-white striped dress under a cropped leather jacket, was running a little behind for her set and had some sound problems early on, but she didnβt disappoint the sweaty fans who bared the desert heat to catch her on the main stage.
The former Fugees frontwoman and her band reworked favorites like βThe Sweetest Thingβ and βEx-Factor,β adding in Fugees classics including βReady or Notβ and βFu-Gee-La.β βIt wouldnβt be right if we didnβt leave you with one more tune,β said Ms. Hill before singing her Grammy-winning opus βDoo Wop (That Thing)β with her backup singers.
βWe love you. We gotta do this again. Bless and love Coachella,β she told the audience before making her exit. Cee Lo Green was killinβ the ladies at Coachella. The R&B lothario showed off his tatted belly during his appearance on the first day of the three-day festival in the desert of Indio, Calif. Cee Lo, who arrived late, voiced his frustration when his onstage time was cut down, forcing him to perform an abridged version of his set. But he still rocked out with his all-female band, closing the show with his befitting hit βF**k Youβ and throwing up the middle finger.
