Except for producing a good music video. what defines a universally recognized "good" video and where is it obvious in the videos that were nominated as opposed to hers?  You can't pay him any attention...he just thrives off of throwing shade. He'll be tuning in when Katy wins. |

So yes, I am glad MTV didn't invite her. If Beyonce shows up, she WILL win...now whether she has time for this, we don't know. I dont think Katy perry is a ratings draw. I highly doubt people would tune in just to watch Katy Perry win.....i know she had a great year this year but for some reason it seems people dont really care about the persona of katy perry. Maybe im alone on this  Maybe they're afraid she'll show up with Rebecca Black. ;) |

Britney's VMA history is frustrating. They shunned her best videos and then awarded her subpar ones as token wins. Like it is good they acknowledged her, but it is crazy they didn't acknowledge her best videos.
It is also strange to me that Rihanna isn't given more loving. Her videos are on par with other pop videos or at least on par with the quality that is normally at least nominated at these awards.
