Why is everyone complaining about Jessie J being cut off? It has been this way for years. The house band just performs during breaks. They get 30 seconds per song or so.
although I think they should get 1 song during somepoint in the night... at least like 2 minutes or something. But either way, it is great exposure for Jessie J =)

It amuses me how everyone is constantly surprised every time the 'house band' act gets cut off at the beginning and end of the adverts. That's there gig. Obviously Jessie J deserves to be heard in full, but there's no surprise here.

Surely MTV gave Ms. Spears the Pop Video award because of the Vanguard thing? because TTWE is NOT a better video than "Last Friday Night." And, as I had said before, Video Vanguard makes sense for Spears. There has not been a Vanguard recipient in a while, and she's been one of MTV's biggest stars since her debut. Madonna did do drag in 1993, but she wore a tophat. Stefani Gaga slicked her hair back and everything.  No denying Stefani is a strong performer, though. |
