Surely MTV gave Ms. Spears the Pop Video award because of the Vanguard thing? because TTWE is NOT a better video than "Last Friday Night." And, as I had said before, Video Vanguard makes sense for Spears. There has not been a Vanguard recipient in a while, and she's been one of MTV's biggest stars since her debut. Madonna did do drag in 1993, but she wore a tophat. Stefani Gaga slicked her hair back and everything.  No denying Stefani is a strong performer, though. Stay pressed Britney is racking awards |

Maybe I'm not paying attention enough, but has anybody said "thank you my fans" yet? Nicki just thanked the Barbs. Oh, I didn't know that was what her fans were called. Thanks. I didn't catch the Britney thanks either. So, I'm just not paying attention enough. Kanye didn't seem to enjoy it that much Katy saying "Is this when you interrupt me?". |

House, she was acting like a guy- talking about picking up "bitches" and such. (been a while since I've watched that, though). But, yeah, females had done drag before Madonna, too. Annie Lennox was very androgynous to begin with, so drag for her was fitting, too. So tired of "Give Me Everything." |
