That's ridiculous. Frustrating that her stans are being that immature. The RITD video may be a little meh, the BTW/Judas videos may be great (IMO) but this is absurd.

How lovely that MTV is highlighting some 'Monsters' but what about the stans of the other girls who call Gaga ugly and other nasty things on a day-to-day basis? I can't at their bullsh*t and their reason for calling out some stans.

Not surprised for the few noms GaGa got. Let's be honest here (and I'm speaking as a huge stan of her), the 3 videos for this era are either lacking and/or pretentious and didn't deserve VOTY noms.
Hopefully, the videos of her rest BTW singles will show more art/passion and less pretentiousness.
That being said, LMAO at Adele's nom (that video is bland) and color me shocked for Katy getting nominated for Firework instead of for E.T. (I honestly believe E.T. was going to win VOTY and in my opinion is the best video this year).
Rihanna should have gotten a nom in the female categories.

I have nothing against people voting, but as the awards are called 'VIDEO music awards' they should really award the best videos, not the most popular artists.
But HG said the videos themselves have been irrelevant recently. If your videos are trash but you have sold millions of singles you'll get nominated.

I don't have problems with fan voting as well, but there comes to a point when it's almost predictable who's gonna win. But at the same time, when VMA's was not fan voted, some really good videos failed to win

I remember the biggest WTF being Panic at the Disco winning Video of the Year with 'I Write Sins Not Tragedies' (amazing video) after it lost to All-American Rejects in the Group Video Category and to AFI in Rock Video lol. And that was also voted by public. So anything can happen..
