Wow, can't believe it's been that long now.
I suggested a 20th Anniversary tour/concert of her debut album to her on Twitter:
Also, TONIGHT she'll be singing the National Anthem at MSG for the NY Knicks vs 76ers game!

According to Wiki (I know), Jim Beanz (one of Timbaland's main writers and co-producers) did a lot of work for her new album. Hopefully we hear something new from the project soon; I want a new album from her more than anything else.

Do Deborah! Her voice has held up Great!. I LOVED "Kinda Miss You". Even though it has a very similar vibe to Disclosure's "Latch" I could care less.

Since R&B ain't selling anyway, I guess she figured there was no point in releasing a new album.

Her next single is titled "Art To Love" and features Eric Benet. I *think* she's going to drop the album while the national tour is going on.
I'm still in love with "More Than I Knew."

"Kinda Miss You" is the hottest thing she's released since her cover of "Something Happened On The Way To Heaven" so I hope the album has some energy in the tracks. I liked her last album but it ran together a bit too much and only "Beautiful U R" really stood out.

She'll be on Entertainment Tonight this evening.
Besides "Beautiful U R," "Where Do We Go 2" was a crossover song. It sounded very One Republic-ish. Her crossover material rarely gets released. They didn't push BUR in the US.

Hope this eventually gets a release. We know how long it took "The Girl From Ipanema" to finally come out.

I know. I really wish she'd get a nomination soon, even if it's in the Dance category. Her Broadway promo always uses the notion that since her Destination Moon got that Grammy nomination, that also means she got one...

The Bodyguard Musical EP is coming out in a few weeks.
I bumped "Someone Like You" & "A New Life" from Jekyll& Hyde earlier and she slayed those vocals!

I usually live for a Deborah Cox club jam or remix but I'm not here for "My Air". There's not much to it. Oh well, I'm still waiting for her next cd. I loved "Kinda Miss You" and liked the ballad she released right around there. On her last full cd I only remember caring for the first single and maybe another track. The rest was kind of "Eh" from what I can remember. Her first couple of cd's are gold to me still. lol
