9. BRITNEY SPEARS - Till The World Ends: 71.854 (+ 1.171)Smash! Tomorrow, it'll pass Womanizer and Circus' AI As of right now, a #6-#7 peak is where it's most likely to land. I do hope the other songs start falling like rocks

Shouldn't "Judas," theoretically, be back to positive gains? The 8th-day effect was reported with Saturday's info. Not that I'm expecting it to reach "Born This Way" levels.

11. ADELE - Rolling In The Deep: 65.893 (+ 1.683)
Yay! Starting to gain faster than Katy. Hopefully Katy begins to lose AI soon so that this may have a shot at #1 on the hot 100. :)

ET's #1 now and has a considerable lead over RITD

RITD may have other shots.
If Adele has some additional promo in the next few weeks she could spike her sales again.

BTW isn't dropping too much and I'm sure the spin increase or decreasewill be more evident with time. It seems like stations aren't playing the heck out of it like the did with BTW.

I think Bee and Gaga wlll perform under our expectation this era, album wise and single wise. At least Gaga started off with a monster single, but that song lost so much steam as if 2mil is already the threshold of its total run. I don't think BTW will end up with 4mil. More like 3mil+/- Live performance will help Judas of course, and the mv is not even out so we still don't know yet. I don't think Judas will get a #1 on the Hot 100. And I believe Judas will not have the staying power like previous Gaga's singles did. For Bee, I hope she comes back strong with a more "mainstream" second single. This one is DONE. I'm serious, real DONE. With her name, she does not need promo to get people to buy a good song, but the song is just pure bad in people's taste. She just needs to let people know that she has a new single out, and I guess everyone already knows about it. If her second single fails to make any impact, the album is DONE as well. Good Luck Bee. I don't think Gaga will honestly. She certainly has beaten everyone's expectations so far. Most people on this board didn't think BTW would last 6 weeks on top. So I think Gaga is already beating expectations. AT this point people thinking Gaga will underperform is more like wishful thinking.

I am a self proclaimed Gaga hater and even I know she won't underperform. Why would she? She has the best promo schedule ever. Glee. Ellen. Friggin' American Idol. TWICE. There has been talk about the Oprah finale!Judas "I-promote-freedom-so-I-must-be-sent-from-God" will be shoved down people's throats by the time her album drops. Of course it's going to sell well.

Not debatable? LOL anal much? Whatever. It's not like I put it on the list itself, I just added it in my own post. Your precious list hasn't been altered in any way. And refusing to acknowledge its existence, doesn't mean it didn't happen either. Billboard counts pre-Hot 100 charts, not exactly sure what your problem is with them. ^^Some people can argue about anything. Anyways the corrected list is below ARTISTS WITH THE MOST WEEKS AT #1 ON THE HOT 100 1. Mariah Carey--79 2. The Beatles--59 3. Boyz II Men--50 4. Usher--43 5. Michael Jackson--37 6. Beyonce--36 7. Rihanna--35 8. Elton John--34 9. Janet Jackson--33 10. Madonna--32 79 – Elvis Presley – (Pre Hot 100) 79 – Mariah Carey 59 – The Beatles 50 – Boyz II Men 47 – Usher 37 – Michael Jackson 36 – Beyoncé 34 – Elton John 34 – Rihanna 33 – Janet Jackson 32 – Madonna wikipedia list

She has to promote... and once she does she will sell better. Luckily she has had luke warm first singles and still ends up with a decent album era. Just like in 2004/5 was Norah Jone's/usher's year 2006/7 was fergies year, 2008/9 was taylor's year 2011 will be adele's year...Beyonce just needs to make top 5.

HDD says RITD sold 280k last week:
ROLLING IN THE GLEEKS: Adele’s XL/Columbia album, 21, continues to surge, set to return to #1 tomorrow with a total that looks around 150k, more than a 50% jump over last week, thanks, of course, to Easter weekend, but also because of a pair of cover versions on Glee and American Idol. Gwyneth Paltrow’s take on “Turning Tables,” from last week’s Glee, sold almost 50k downloads in its first week, as did Adele’s original version, up from 4,000 the week before. In addition, the current single, “Rolling in the Deep,” was up 100%, from 140k to 280k, thanks also to a performance by Haley Reinhart on last week’s American Idol. The pre-emptive Grammy front-runner and sales leader is being called the biggest phenomenon since the days of Alanis Morissette, leading industry insiders to wonder aloud, “Can Adele save the record business?” (4/25p)

Was that Mediabase or BDS for HIAM's airplay peak? Nonetheless, it probably was her highest-peaking BDS total (we've already established that "Toxic" peaked between 70m-80m (based on Beyonce's No. 8 ranking one week when 'Toxic" was No. 10, where it had 78m BDS)- and yet it dropped pretty swiftly.

As Alanis might say, "Isn't it ironic?"

E.T. 2. Rolling in the Deep 3. Just Can't Get Enough

Adele has sold as many albums in less than 2 months as Katy has in, what, 8 months? Katy has owned the Hot 100 but Adele is killing her in album sales and critical acclaim.

Yeah, honestly Adele's success is making everyone else that was supposed to rule this year seem kinda small and insignificant lol. I even say that of Gaga too, for anyone who cares. I just cannot deny how much Adele is dominating even without non-stop promotion or radio playing her 20 times an hour.

Mediabase 3 1 BRITNEY SPEARS Toxic 8437 7915 522 75.499 Toxic reached more than 84M on Hot 100 airplay for sure. I read it here in one of the ITZ archives.

not sure why people are joining the "Judas flop" bandwagon
#10 for a 2 days release wasnt bad at all...not even a video to support
4 stars rating on itunes........well received by critics amid the "bad romance" similarities
so what if the song are not quite successful as BTW (yet) in the states, at least it reached #1 in 12 countries on Itunes
well, IMO Taylor Swift's songs were same old same old as well!

not sure why people are joining the "Judas flop" bandwagon there's not even a bandwagon to jump on in the first place. And i think it is underperforming, not flopping. Gaga herself hyped everything up too much that everything so far fell short of expectation.

Second singles don't just explode right out of the gate, they take time to build up. Is it just me or do people on this board's expectations just get more and more ridiculous each year.
