Collaborators:

• Ryan Tedder mentioned working on 3 songs with Carrie in an interview with Reuters.
  
• Marti Frederiksen confirmed via Twitter that he had recently written with the same team behind "Mama's Song" & "Undo It." [DioGuardi, Laird, Underwood]
  
• Mike Elizondo stated during an interview at the 2011 ASCAP "I Create Music" Expo that he was currently hard-at-work co-writing for Carrie's next album.
  
• The Cape Brenton Post is reporting that Gordie Sampson will be contributing/co-writing songs for the upcoming album.
  
• Lori McKenna confirmed during an interview in the February 2011 edition of Country Weekly that Carrie had recently cut one of her songs. However, she was unsure as to whether or not that song would appear on the upcoming album.

I'm really excited for this album. Something just tells me it's going to be her best yet, and will get her that critical acclaim we've been wanting for her for so long. I can't wait til we start getting possible news on the first single, album title, and release dates for the first single and the album.

I don't see any reasons why we wouldn't be getting an album this year. I think it will come out like her other albums around Novermber. When Carrie blogs about what the album possibly will sound like, I think they must have a lot of songs already.

Plus I think her record label would want to benifit from Christmas sales.

I think that with the time Carrie is taking on working on album #4, it might be her best album yet. And I think the decision not to release a fifth single from PO is looking to be the good decision. Her performances of HGTA and Walk This Way, coupled with a smash country hit waiting to happen in the form of "Remind Me" and then a first single that would hopefully be brilliant would fuel interest in this album much more than a fifth PO single and a lead album #4 single.

I absolutely love new eras! It's so exciting not knowing anything about the era, and along the weeks of waiting we get more info. I love when we get little details like song titles, track list, album cover, debut single and its cover, more images from the album, etc. It's such a fun time! I really look forward to this! And I can't say enough how much I love the idea of a prominently upbeat album. I hope Carrie has some great midtempos this time. I really love Wasted, All-American Girl, etc.

We haven't heard a single demo yet. How on earth can you tell that it's the "same old, same old"? I'll reserve judgment until we actually start hearing some demos.

Carrie's only real boy-bashers are 'Before He Cheats', 'Cowboy Casanova', 'Undo It', & 'Songs Like This'. The problem is that three of those four were singles, obviously, creating the misconception that all of Carrie's up-tempo numbers are boy-bashers. Which is exactly why I think it's important that a light-hearted or story-driven up-tempo gets single treatment this time around. The public needs to see more of that side.

Count me in with those that love the new eras. It's really exciting getting song titles and hearing demos and everything.

I'm still really hoping that "Oklahoma Wind" makes the album. If it's mostly upbeat, I would only hope the ballads are OW quality, or just OW itself.
