Carrie blogged. A concept for the 'Remind Me' music video is currently in-the-works. And, she basically confirmed that she'll be singing something at the Idol finale.

Loved the blog. :) And I'm happy to hear the video is being produced. However, I hope they don't hold it off like they did with "Old Alabama". That video is being released in the next couple weeks and the song is already peaking at #1 this week, so it's too late for the video to give the song promotion. Curious to see what she does at the finale. If there's any word of Brad being in or near LA within the next week, we could have the answer. It's the release of his album, and the Idol finale stage is the ultimate promotional appearance to boost sales. That, and performing "Remind Me" wouldn't do anything but shoot those sales sky-high. So many conspiracies.  |

It sounds like they're starting work on the 'Remind Me' video much earlier than they did the 'Old Alabama' video. So, I don't think that will be an issue.
Anyway, hopefully the video delivers. It has the potential to be killer.

It has the potential to be killer. The video could be a career's finest for Carrie if it follows the plotline and is directed well enough. I'm impressed as to how quickly this song took off. I knew it'd be huge, but I didn't expect it to be #1 on Arista adds after less than 24 hours of being leaked on slacker.com of all possible scenarios. Very impressive, and it just foreshadows the future domination of this showstopper. :) |

Detroit station WYCD has "Remind Me" up on their site with the comment from Coop (one of the DJs?): I'm guessing this upload is the single or from the album the label sent them because it sounds HQ. The mix is much more even and clear. Make sure to listen to this one.

Carrie is in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame "Women Who Rock" exhibit. Legend, tbh. GaGa, Swizzle, and others made the list. She's the only Idol alumni there. :)

Hmm. I'm a little confused as to why 'I Told You So' didn't make the cut. Didn't that one perform really well on international iTunes charts? And, I probably would've replaced 'Don't Forget To Remember Me' with 'Wasted'. The rest looks nice, though.
