Yep. They're definitely counting "Inside Your Heaven". Carrie has 13 Mediabase #1s, 11 Billboard #1s.
And, I'd love for there to be a performance of the lead single at the Opry but I doubt that's the case. It sounds like more of a ~special night for Randy than anything else - four of the artists listed have recorded duets with him. She will probably just perform "I Told You So" & "Is It Still Over?".

^^^Yeah, I'm pretty sure that night is looking to be a dedication to Randy Travis rather than a platform for Carrie to debut a single.
I'm still keeping my fingers crossed for some major announcements to come about in the next week or two.

Carrie will also be interviewed for US Weekly, presumably at the Olay shoot as well. Twitter

I wasn't a real big fan of it. But yes, a #1 is a #1. No matter which chart. It's crazy and awesome that in six years Carrie has amassed fourteen number one hits. She's clearly on the track to becoming a Country legend.

Lori McKenna responded to a question via Twitter regarding Carrie cutting one of her songs: Q: Is it true that Carrie U. cut one of yr songs? Do you think it will be on her next album?
A: Never can be sure until the day the record comes out! But us songwriters, we are a hopeful bunch!! Maybe this is just me letting wishful thinking take the lead, but I feel like the Lori track is essentially a shoe-in for the album at this point. I mean it has been going around since early-January that Carrie had recorded one of her songs, which leads me to believe that Carrie quickly snatched up a track from Lori's latest album Lorraine for herself. I think Carrie wanted to get ahold of it before anyone else.

Snatching a Lori track is one of the best moves she could have made. Lori is a great songwriter.

I know I'm probably going to start a fire now, but well... I just found this. Apparently someone has Wine After Whiskey. darkbluetennessee.com/blog/?p=348I tried to find it myself on Google (I didn't, in case you wonder), and I came up finding a lot of people who are actually tading some other unreleased Carrie songs (Sugar Rush, Beautiful Life and a couple more)... Did you guys know about this or am I the only one who though those songs were totally unreleased?

If anyone finds those tracks I will pay for them. Kidding but not kidding.

OH MY GOD. I need those recordings. Hell, I just want album news right now. Carrie hasn't blogged for weeks.

I remember hearing about "Wine After Whiskey" before Play On came out, and I was hoping we would get to hear it because it's such an interesting title!

Has anyone ever heard the non-Carrie studio demo that they talk about in that blog post? I wasn't aware that any demo, Carrie or not, had ever leaked of "Wine After Whiskey."

This is completely random, but still Carrie-related.
Tonight in the basement of my dorm we were playing games and such and some guy just randomly says to go around in our circle and say our name and our favorite kind of wood.
My response: Carrie UnderWOOD ;)

Wine Over Whiskey is a very well written song and I wished Carrie would have recorded that demo production wise. The demo floating around is another singer. I would love to listen to her version. Sugar Rush is an upbeat song but not that strong to be on an album IMO. Beautiful Life is also upbeat.

I absolutely love "Lie to Me Again" and 'My Favorite Part" though and would have preferred those tracks to a few that made Play On. I hope it doesn't get out too much! Carrie's demos don't get out much at all. The very few people that have them take good care of them. The upside: the demos are well-protected. The downside: very few fans get to hear them.

All I have heard from these is "Wine After Whiskey" and it wasn't Carrie singing. The song didn't do too much for me but it was good, but no "Oklahoma Wind" or anything.

The Oklahoma Wind demo that leaked with Carrie singing it is still on my iTunes. That's my favorite demo, ever. That song needs to make an album of hers. I could see it being very successful on Country radio.

That's my blog and yes I have Wine After Whiskey with Carrie singing it. I don't share my rare Carrie songs any more because fans don't know how to not leak them onto the internet. I was the original person who had Oklahoma Wind and look at what has happened to that track now. It's everywhere. At least the shortened version is which I gave out to a few fans. The full demo has Carrie doing another take of a couple parts.

I would assume that if the label doesn't want stuff getting out, they have the resources to keep it under wraps.

It may even be why Carrie has blogged less, given out fewer clues this time around. Seems we have some fans who make it almost a competition to see who can find and post stuff the fastest. And I'm guilty of listening to what they post for sure.

I don't understand why My Favorite Part never made the album either. :( It's not a single material, but it sounds gorgeous.
