Carrie really does have flawless skin...
And one of the commercials was aired during the "In the Spotlight" Country special earlier tonight.
I'm prepared to see these commercials air every break tomorrow night ;)
I said this on Carriefans, but I'll say it here as well.
I don't expect Carrie to win, as much as I'd love her to. Somehow, she'll still manage to classily make the show all about her. She did the same at the ACMs, she lost, but owned the show. Tomorrow night, I expect the same. Through hosting, performing, commercials, and her fashion, the CMAs will surely mean; Carrie Music Awards.
I can't wait!

Does anyone know if there is a streaming of the actual award show tonight. I'm gonna be missing it from 8-9:15 on TV but I will have my computer nearby me the whole time it's airing... Dumb nighttime class... :X

Ugh. Carrie is flawless. Loved the monologue. I wish there were more Carrie-driven parody songs, though - like "Swine Flu" from a couple years ago. She just sounds so good on 'em.

The first half was certainly weaker than the second half, but Carrie's vocals soared. My goodness.
A well-deserved standing ovation, at that. Brad certainly held his own, too!

And the production was way too loud for a song that's really about their voices. Halfway through, and to the end, the song sounded amazing! It must be a very hard song to sing live... Lots of different notes, runs, and riffs for both of them and they all have to somehow harmonize together. Overall, it was a fabulous performance. And I can't get over that note! It was much higher than the recorded version... and for those 8/9 seconds that was the only thing I could hear... Breathtaking, literally! |

I hope they actually PROMOTE in on Hot AC ... rather than what they usually do with her songs on other formats and just let them live or die on their own. |

A falsetto is naturally soft and very hard to project, especially with loud music there to drown it out. |
