^Awesome. I'm sure we'll be hearing a lead off single no later than January.

I'd venture a guess and say that the single will come out the second full week of 2012.

I'm thinking that the single title (and potentially the album title & cover) will be Christmas presents.

I could definitely see the album cover and possibly single name (and maybe the single cover too) coming out a little before Christmas to build up anticipation. I could definitely see a Monday January 2 or January 9 release...it would blast up the chart just as the chart comes out of "holiday slowdown" mode.
However we can't totally rule out a December release (I'm not really expecting it, but still). It's true that the chart slows down for 2+ weeks, but it would hardly slow up a new Carrie single...it might not slow it up at all.
Still, I'll stick with the song impacting radio either January 2 or January 9.

Do you think they will reveal the album title & cover, album release date, and lead single all at once? I think they'll announce the lead single sometime in late December and send it out early January. The album title and cover will probably be revealed in January too, I'm guessing.

I'm excited to see how an album released in the spring instead of fall pans out for Carrie. Paint me pumped.

That's so random that she even filmed a commercial for it...so weird.

Look at our little mass communications major putting her skills to work, love it! So excited! I'm trying to find someone to go with me, as soon as I do so, consider my flight and hotel booked, and tickets bought!

Cmt is doing the Artists Of The Year special again this year and Brad Paisley is being honor, Here's my question, do you guys know of Carrie's going to go to it? Well, they have announced performers and presenters and she was not listed. They may add her later, I don't know.

A new article about the Artists of the Year special now lists Carrie as appearing. I don't know if they have updated info or if they are just reporting from the earlier error.

I love it how the entire article is about the 5 artists being honored, and yet Carrie's picture is the only one provided when she's simply just (potentially) appearing.

Moving things to a side-note really quickly, but I love[/i] it when I revisit the SH set. I get addicted to a different album track every time. That's Where It Is, (The Night Before) Life Goes On, Starts With Goodbye, I Just Can't Live a Lie, I Ain't in Checotah Anymore, etc. It's seriously a flawless debut. Sorry about that randomness! Carry on! :)

More praise for Brad & Carrie's CMAs hosting: For awards hosts, age just a numberThe writer then compares to the Franco-Hathaway hosting duo, and then to Crystal replacing Murphy to host the Oscars.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but does this means that Carrie is a fantastic tipper??
Edited. A little common sense about privacy, please. -dudley

Yeah, it would've been nice of him to black out the last 4, but it's only the last 4 digits so it's not that big of a deal. But yes, that does make her fantastic tipper. Her tip was more than the bill itself! What a nice lady. P.S. Anyone notice that Carrie accidentally signed and gave him the customer copy instead of the merchant copy?

She's awesome! What a great tip! I would DIE if I waited her table! And I would never spend that tip. I would probably frame it and keep the receipt as an autograph! lol

New co-write registered over at ASCAP: "Alabama Who" - Bobby Hamrick / Kelley Lovelace / Carrie Underwood
Lots of potential here: 01. Talk about an intriguing title. Seriously, what could this even be about? Ideas? 02. A new name in-the-mix: Bobby Hamrick. You can check out some of his stuff over at his Facebook & ReverbNation pages. His lyrics could probably use some tightening up but I like his sound, a lot. Carrie's voice on something like "Push on Through" would be out of this world. 03. Kelley Lovelace makes for a great writer most of the time. Thanks for all that you do, Ty! Hope it's a good one this year! Happy birthday Typo!
