At least going by the numbers, Just a Kiss could sneak in at 6, but it's close enough by those numbers that streaming would make a difference.

ADELE'S NUMBER ONE! www.billboard.com/#/news/adele-s-rolling-in-the-deep-tops-hot-100-1005179322.storyAdele ascends to her first No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, to be released tomorrow (May 12) on Billboard.com, as "Rolling in the Deep" rises 2-1. The song concurrently reaches the summit on Digital Songs (2-1), despite a 2% decline to 294,000 copies sold, according to Nielsen SoundScan. "Deep" garners the Hot 100's Airplay Gainer award for a second consecutive week, rising 7-3 on Radio Songs (99 million in audience, up 28%, according to Nielsen BDS). The soulful song's coronation marks a female artist's first Hot 100 No. 1 since Ke$ha's debut single "TiK ToK" began a nine-week reign the week of Jan. 2, 2010. Prior to "Deep," Adele had charted solely with the No. 21-peaking "Chasing Pavements," from her debut album "19," in 2009. Beastie Boys Score No. 2 Debut on Billboard 200, Adele Holds at No. 1 (Following the bow of "Deep" on the Dec. 25, 2010, Hot 100, Adele has added the album cuts "Someone Like You" (No. 65), "Set Fire to the Rain" (No. 88) and "Turning Tables" (No. 63), all from her sophomore set "21," which commands the Billboard 200 for a seventh frame; Adele is the first female artist to top the Hot 100 and Billboard 200 simultaneously since Ke$ha ("TiK ToK," "Animal," respectively) the week of Jan. 23, 2010). Having reached No. 21 last week on Billboard's Alternative Songs chart (this week dipping to No. 22), "Deep" is the highest-peaking Alternative hit by a solo female artist to top the Hot 100 since Sinead O'Connor's "Nothing Compares 2 U" spent one week atop Alternative and four frames atop the Hot 100 in spring 1990. "Deep" pushes Katy Perry's "E.T.," featuring Kanye West, to No. 2 on the Hot 100, after five weeks on top, and Digital Songs, after seven weeks in charge. "E.T." gains in audience, spending a third week atop Radio Songs (143 million, up 3%), while dropping by 21% to 237,000 downloads sold. After Jennifer Lopez traded her judge's chair for the stage to perform "On the Floor," featuring Pitbull, on "American Idol" last Thursday (May 5), the song soars 7-3 with Digital Greatest honors on the Hot 100 (175,000 downloads, up 25%). The song had previously peaked at No. 5 (March 19), the same rank at which her new album, "Love?," arrives on the Billboard 200 this week. Jennifer Lopez 'Love?': Track-by-Track Review Rounding out the Hot 100's top five, the Black Eyed Peas' "Just Can't Get Enough" holds at No. 4 and Bruno Mars' "The Lazy Song" maintains its No. 5 rank. After its remix featuring Nicki Minaj and Ke$ha sent Britney Spears' "Till the World Ends" vaulting 11-3 on last week's Hot 100, the song retreats to No. 6. Last week, the song sold 246,000 downloads, with the triple-threat remix accounting for 68% of the title's sales. This week, the song experiences a 49% digital sales erosion to 126,000, with the all-star remix accounting for 47% of the song's overall digital sum. Still, "World" bullets at No. 6 on Radio Songs with a 10% uptick to 87 million in audience. Nicki Minaj: I'll 'Remain Myself' Whether on Britney Spears or Lil Wayne's Tour As with Lopez, an "Idol" performance last Thursday aids Lady Antebellum, whose "Just a Kiss" blasts onto the Hot 100 at No. 7, marking the highest debut for a country group in the chart's 52-year history. (Sugarland previously held the record with a No. 20 start for "Stuck Like Glue" the week of Aug. 14, 2010). The first single from the trio's forthcoming third studio album launches on Digital Songs at No. 3 (211,000). As previously reported, the ballad storms the Country Songs airplay chart at No. 28 with 6 million in first-week audience. While rising 7-3 assisting Lopez on "Floor," Pitbull scores his fourth Hot 100 top 10 as a lead artist, and seventh overall, as "Give Me Everything," featuring Ne-Yo, AfroJack and Nayer, darts 13-8. The song jumps 11-7 on Digital Songs (153,000, up 25%) and 23-15 on Radio Songs (57 million, up 27%). Rihanna's "S&M" slips 6-9 on the Hot 100 and Chris Brown's "Look at Me Now," featuring Lil Wayne and Busta Rhymes, holds at No. 10. Along with Lady Antebellum's bow, two other songs debut in the Hot 100's top 40: dance track "Where Them Girls At" by David Guetta, featuring Flo Rida and Minaj (No. 14; 162,000 downloads), and "Fast Lane" by Bad Meets Evil, the duo of Eminem and Royce da 5'9" (No. 32, 84,000). Additional Hot 100 entrances include five Fleetwood Mac covers by the "Glee" cast, led by its remake of "Go Your Own Way" at No. 45 (as the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame band's "Rumours" re-enters the Billboard 200 at No. 11); Don Omar's former 15-week Latin Songs No. 1 "Danza Kuduro" (No. 82); and, Thirty Seconds to Mars' "Closer to the Edge" (No. 99). "Idol" contestant James Durbin covered the lattermost song to begin last Wednesday's (May 4) episode. All charts, including the Hot 100, Digital Songs and Radio Songs, will be refreshed tomorrow on Billboard.com.

Nice! Glad to see Adele was able to pull through despite the huge airplay difference. A second week should be no problem.

Funny how Born This Way racked more weeks at #1 than E.T. which is unarguably a bigger hit.

Jay, when looking at overall chart performance, "E.T." indeed will fare better than "Born This Way." :) Was "On the Floor" part of the pre-order for Lopez's album/ I thought it was released as a standalone single- that would explain why it didn't suffer the "Complete-My-Album" thingie. You neglected to include Pitbull in your "Go..." post, Street Date. How many top five hits is this for him now?

"On The Floor" is also a stand-alone single but you can still complete albums even if you buy the separate single version of the song.
I'm not a fan of Pitbull. I'm only happy to see J-Lo there. But I understand that you're mentioning that because the song wouldn't be as big as a hit with out him and "Idol" etc. etc. etc.

So, if a single has its own listing at iTunes outside of the album, that still counts toward "Complete My Album"? Wasn't sure about that. BTW- I'm not a fan of Pitbull either- I'd listen to Jenny From the Block over him. (for the record, I actually don't mind "On the Floor"- it is nothing grand or special, as she doesn't really make that kind of music, but it's fun)

Pitbull has seven Top 10 hits now, and four Top 5s. 'Give Me Everything' should easily go Top 5 as well.

I just love her for her fun music :) But yeah, it can still be used. I didn't notice it until I bought a few stand-alone singles and I was offered the complete my album option when the albums were eventually released. One thing that's strange is that I purchased The Konvict Remix of Gwen's "The Sweet Escape", and it still offered the 'complete my album' deal, because they treated it as if I bought the regular version of the song ??? So if I had completed the album, I would've have received the album version of it, just all the other songs on the album lol

^What's your point? It was intended to be purely an iTunes countdown single and I imagine after performing beyond their expectations (as well as getting a very positive reaction) it's been promoted as the third single.

Just judging from my anecdotal reactions from friends, "Edge of Glory" is easily the most well-received of the BTW era singles so far.
Although I must admit I would really prefer a radio edit without the saxophone.

Funny how Born This Way racked more weeks at #1 than E.T. which is unarguably a bigger hit. E.T.-s spent 8 though in the Top2, and will probably spend 3-4 more

Exclusive Newsflash:
I have confirmed with Billboard that "Till the World Ends" achieves Britney Spears' highest weekly BDS audience- look for a mention of it on Billboard.com this week. :)

I'm so happy Adele is #1, I thought RITD will be like one of those hits stuck at #2
Anyway, Ne-Yo earns his first top 10 with Give Me Everything since his featured performance on "Knock You Down" in 2008 but he hasn't had a top 10 hit on his own since Miss Independent
Impressive for Lady Antebellum

But in mediabase, Toxic is still her biggest radio hit until yesterday of course Tmrw TTWE will pass that 93M AI mark.

new.music.yahoo.com/blogs/chart_watch/74363/week-ending-may-8-2011-songs-rolling-in-the-dough/E.T." by Katy Perry featuring Kanye West dips to #2, but it's still a history-making week for the pop star, who becomes the first artist in the history of the Hot 100 to remain in the top 10 for a full year. Perry's streak began with "California Gurls" (featuring Snoop Dogg), which debuted at #2 in the week ending May 16, 2010. It has continued with "Teenage Dream," "Firework" and "E.T." (featuring Kanye West).
Billboard's Gary Trust (who came up with this item) reports that the old record was held by Ace of Base, which logged 48 consecutive weeks in the top 10 from Oct. 15, 1993 through Sept. 10, 1994. The Swedish group achieved the feat with the hits "All That She Wants," "The Sign" and "Don't Turn Around."
I have still more good news for Perry. "E.T." tops the 3 million mark in digital sales this week. It's Perry's sixth song to reach that plateau, which is more than any other artist in digital history. Rihanna is in second place with five songs, a tally that includes both lead and featured performances. Perry has been in the lead position on all six of her 3-million-sellers.
Perry's songs to top the 3 million mark are (in chronological order) "I Kissed A Girl" (which is up to 4,046,000, per Nielsen SoundScan), "Hot N Cold" (4,878,000), "California Gurls" (featuring Snoop Dogg, 4,798,000), "Teenage Dream" (3,660,000), "Firework" (4,265,000) and now "E.T." (3,157,000).
"E.T." is the fourth 3 million-seller for West, following "Gold Digger" (featuring Jamie Foxx, 3,083,000), "Stronger" (4,363,000) and "Heartless" (3,742,000).
