Natalie Cole said she hated "Miss You Like Crazy" because she felt that was her "sellout" song. Also, the song's writer and producer Michael Masser made her record 60 takes of it.

Billy Joel recently admitted in concert after messing up the lyrics that he doesn't like "We Didn't Start the Fire."

Didnt John Lennon hate "Let it be" and "The long and winding road"? These 2 songs are very mellow with Paul McCartney singing.

Amber has said numerous times she hates most of her debut album, ESPECIALLY "Colour of Love." Amber did re-record "This Is Your Night" and "One More Night" from her first album and re-released them as she didn't own the original masters. In several interviews, she mentioned that the original version of "Colour Of Love" had a totally different vocal arrangement that was drastically changed for the released one. She said it was more "diva-like".

Yet he likes the lyrics to his newer songs? Seriously. His lyrics during the BEP eras were like Shakespeare compared to the pre-school nonsense he is coming out with now.

"My Humps" was dumb, though in a (very) briefly enjoyable way. But how "I wanna scream and shout, and let it all out, And scream, and shout, and let it out, We saying, oh wee oh wee oh wee oh, We saying, oh wee oh wee oh wee oh" is much of an improvement is beyond me.

But how "I wanna scream and shout, and let it all out, And scream, and shout, and let it out, We saying, oh wee oh wee oh wee oh, We saying, oh wee oh wee oh wee oh" is much of an improvement is beyond me. Although "My Humps" wasn't all that exciting lyrically, it was cheeky fun. Alanis Morissette's dramatic acoustic interpretation of the song with a similarly hilarious literal music video was brilliant. The lyrics were funny. I drive these fuckers crazy, I do it on the daily, They treat me really nicely, They buy me all these ices. Dolce & Gabbana, Fendi and that Donna Karan, they be sharin' All their money got me wearin' fly Brother I ain't askin, They say they love my ass βn, Seven Jeans, True Religion's, I say no, but they keep givin' So I keep on takin' And no I ain't taken We can keep on datin' I keep on demonstrating. ... I met a girl down at the disco. She said hey, hey, hey yea let's go. I could be your baby, you can be my honey Let's spend time not money. I mix your milk wit my cocoa puff, Milky, milky cocoa, Mix your milk with my cocoa puff, milky, milky riiiiiiight. They say I'm really sexy, The boys they wanna sex me. They always standing next to me, Always dancing next to me, Tryin' a feel my hump, hump. Lookin' at my lump, lump. You can look but you can't touch it, If you touch it I'ma start some drama, You don't want no drama, No, no drama, no, no, no, no drama So don't pull on my hand boy, You ain't my man, boy, I'm just tryn'a dance boy, And move my hump.

Katy Perry, she said she wants to move into a joni mitchell real organic type of singer, songwriter route so I reckon she hates her music now. Joni Mitchell would.

Cher also initially hated If I Could Turn Back Time and Diane Warren had to convince her to record it.

According to Diane Warren, Toni Braxton hated "Un-break my heart" and didn't want to record it. L.A Reid had to convince her to....

MGMT and "Kids". Besides completely moving away from that sound on their follow-up album "Congratulations", they even refused to play it at their own concerts.

Actually, most of their first album consisted of space/psych rock that is more akin to the direction that they moved in, so I wouldn't exactly say the whole first album, just the big 3 singles from it. Either way though, I think Oracular Spectacular is still a great summer album and it's a very nostalgic album for me, especially the big 3 singles. Congratulations is a very solid psych/surf rock album too and I feel it was severely underrated, but I agree that their self-titled album wasn't as good.

Christina Aguliera isn't fond of her debut album, and she envisioned going the Soul/R&B route, but her label pushed her into the teen Pop direction.
Additionally, she almost passed on recording "Genie In A Bottle" because she felt it was too similar to other songs on the radio at the time. She originally envisioned her debut single being something that would let her showcase her voice, like Mariah's "Vision Of Love."
Katharine McPhee recently said she felt forced into recording her sophomore album "Unbroken," and she wax too vulnerable at the time her label wanted new music.

Not a hit single, but Brandy hates Human because it underperformed and because it's not 'real R&B'. She also recently expressed some evil thoughts towards Two Eleven. Someone should tell her that amount of copies sold shouldn't dictate her feelings towards her own music.

Coldplay - Speed of Sound, and Talk "Whatβs your least favourite Coldplay song? We donβt play it. It used to be a song called Talk, only because Guy (Coldplayβs bassist) doesnβt like it. So, I donβt like playing it because I know he doesnβt like it. Oh, and Speed of Sound because we never got it right." www.concrete-online.co.uk/interview-coldplays-chris-martin/Two of my favourite Coldplay songs

Hates a strong word I guess but Donna Summer wouldn't perform "Love To Love You Baby" from 1980 to about 2007-09. It was due to it's extreme sexual context. Even in the early 70's when she helped write it and recorded it she thought Giorgio Moroder was going to find another artist to record it.

Red Jumpsuit Apparatus refers to Face Down as "the song the label made us sing" when they introduce it in concert (or at least they did a few years ago)
