If Last Friday Night doesn't pick up the pace it looks like Katy's top ten streak may end in a few weeks, although ET doesn't seem to be dropping too fast.

LFN looks like it's doing just fine for a record without n adds date and another that's still riding high on the charts.

Pick up the pace? lol
Already #42 on CHR 7 days before the adds date, and #85 on iTunes. Yea, it's doing so horribly, lol

I never said LFN was doing horribly at all. I'm sure the song will do great. I'm talking about Katy's record of continuously being in the top ten. LFN hasn't yet debuted on the Hot 100, right? It will have to climb into the top ten pretty quickly to keep that continuous streak alive. ET powered into the top ten super fast but it had the Kanye remix to spur that growth, whereas LFN will probably climb at a more gradual rate.
I have no idea why you would say it's wishful thinking -- I'd be happy to see Katy keep her streak alive.

You know, sometimes people make comments on the charts that AREN'T driven by stanning or hating -- just making observations.

I think E.T. has a good 4 weeks left in the top 10. She isn't plummeting yet.

Adele 254 + 154 = 408 Pitbull 210 + 99 = 309 Katy 148 + 147 = 295 Bruno 138 + 88 = 226 JLo 130 + 86 = 216 BEP? Gaga 165 + 40 = 205 Britney? LMFAO 154 + 40 = 194 Khaled 159 + 24 = 183 Lupe? Scotty 171 Nicki 128 + 30 = 158 Brown? Britney = 117 + 95 = 212, which would put her ahead of Gaga, and maybe J.Lo.

I honestly don't really care if Katy's Hot100 Top10 streak continues, she already set the record for a full year inside the Top10 :)

Yup, either way she'll have at least a 10 week lead on the #2 artist.

"Deep" ascends 2-1 on Radio Songs (144 million in audience, up 6%, according to Nielsen BDS) and 3-1 on the Pop Songs radio airplay chart. With it having topped the Triple A adult alternative airplay list (for 14 weeks), the song is the first by a woman to have ruled all three radio-based rankings and just the third among all acts, following Shawn Mullins' "Lullabye" (1998) and Goo Goo Dolls' "Slide" (1998-99). On Digital Songs, "Deep" registers a fourth frame at No. 1 (254,000 downloads sold, down 14%, according to Nielsen SoundScan). Pitbull's "Give Me Everything," featuring Ne-Yo, AfroJack and Nayer, rises 3-2 on the Hot 100 with Airplay Gainer honors, advancing 6-4 on Radio Songs (100 million, up 16%). The track holds at No. 2 on Digital Songs (210,000, down 1%). Katy Perry's former Hot 100 No. 1 "E.T.," featuring Kanye West, dips 2-3; Jennifer Lopez's "On the Floor," featuring Pitbull, rises 5-4, swapping spots with the Black Eyed Peas' "Just Can't Get Enough" (4-5); and, Bruno Mars' "The Lazy Song" holds at No. 6, while Britney Spears' "Till the World Ends" maintains its No. 7 rank. As Lady Gaga's "Born This Way" blasts in atop the Billboard 200 with the biggest sales week since 2005, "The Edge of Glory," the album's third radio single, rebounds 19-8 on the Hot 100 with the chart's Digital Gainer award (after debuting at No. 3 two weeks ago). The song storms 14-4 on Digital Songs (165,000, up 74%), while jumping 37-24 on Radio Songs (39 million, up 31%). Two other tracks from "Born" enter the Hot 100 on the strength of digital sales: "You and I" (No. 37; 83,000) and "Marry the Night" (No. 79; 35,000). LMFAO's "Party Rock Anthem," featuring Lauren Bennett and GoonRock, retreats 8-9 on the Hot 100, while DJ Khaled's "I'm on One," featuring Drake, Rick Ross and Lil Wayne, rockets 78-10 (159,000 downloads, up 798%). The song marks DJ Khaled's first top 10; he had previously peaked as high as No. 19 with "I'm So Hood," featuring T-Pain, Trick Daddy, Rick Ross and Plies, in 2007. 2011 "Idol" champion Scotty McCreery scores the Hot 100's Hot Shot Debut with victory ballad "I Love You This Big" at No. 11. The song, which McCreery sang on the Fox show's May 24 and May 25 finale-week episodes, starts at No. 3 on Digital Songs (171,000). As previously reported, "I Love You This Big" logs the highest debut on Billboard's Country Songs chart (No. 32) for a brand new artist's first single since the survey adopted BDS data the week of Jan. 20, 1990. McCreery's arrival bests that of 2010 "Idol" winner Lee DeWyze, whose coronation single, a cover of U2's "Beautiful Day," bowed at No. 24 on the Hot 100 with 95,000 downloads. "Idol" runner-up Lauren Alaina charges onto the Hot 100 at No. 20 with "Like My Mother Does," which begins at No. 11 on Digital Songs (121,000). Alaina likewise enjoys early support from country radio, as the cut, which she performed May 24 on "Idol," starts at No. 49 on Country Songs. The "Glee" cast sends five songs onto the Hot 100 from the Fox series' May 24 second-season finale, led by two songs written specifically for the episode: "Light Up the World" (No. 33; 86,000 downloads sold) and "Pretending" (No. 40; 79,000). The troupe had charted two prior original compositions among its Hot 100-record 156 appearances: "Loser Like Me" (No. 6) and "Get It Right" (No. 16) in April. After she performed the song on the star-studded May 25 "Idol" season wrap-up, Beyoncé enters the Hot 100 at No. 57 with "1+1" (57,000 downloads). Her "Run the World (Girls)" similarly benefits from her performances on the 2011 Billboard Music Awards May 22 and the first half of the two-day "Oprah Winfrey Show" all-star celebration May 23, lifting from No. 50 to a new peak of No. 29. The track had debuted at No. 33 five weeks ago. (Columbia Records is not soliciting airplay for "1+1," instead shifting to "Best Thing I Never Had," also from Beyoncé's fourth studio album "4," due June 28, as the radio follow-up to "World"). Other notable Hot 100 debuts include Reeve Carney's "Rise Above 1," featuring Bono and the Edge (No. 74), after the star of the Broadway musical "Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark" performed the song with the members of U2 on "Idol" May 25; Kenny Chesney's top 25 (27-21) Country Songs hit "You and Tequila," featuring Grace Potter (No. 92); and, "Man Down," the fifth chart entry -- which concurrently rises 40-34 on R&B/Hip-Hop Songs -- from Rihanna's album "Loud" (No. 94) (as her new pop single "California King Bed" pushes 80-66 in its second week).

Queen B sneaking into the top 30 with "Run The World (Girls)"- this should be its peak.
Scotty M. just missing the top 10.
"On the Floor" is really hanging in there- I'm still thinking that Ms. Lopez won't see another significant hit from her latest album.

I agree, I don't see I'm Into You hitting Top 20, and the rest of the album sounds recycled. RTW Might peak somewhere around #24-28, but I don't see it reaching Top 20 either.
Yay@ TTWE #7.

I'm sure Katy's label is fully aware of her top 10 streak. I'd expect LFN to have a huge banner ad in the coming weeks to spur sales, if not next week.

Yah- airplay is done for RTW, and the sales should drop some for next week's chart, so No. 29 should be its peak. So, aside from the two new Glee tracks debuting, these should be the other debuts, based on iTunes performance: For Good I Love New York / New York, New York As Long As You're There Glad to see "For Good" get a Hot 100 appearance, even if it is a Glee cover. ;D
